Decided to try this place on a whim. The portion sizes are huge for the price – my plate was absolutely loaded. You can easily leave stuffed without spending more than £15.

The mee goreng was spot on, and the portion was generous. What really stood out was the service—our server was so friendly and even proactively offered boxes for our leftovers. A really nice touch.

The sukiyaki was good, beef was nicely marbled. But the portion felt a bit small for the price, especially the grilled prawns. Udon texture was spot on though. Left still thinking about the value.

Service was spot on. Waitress suggested the best value option without pushing, and timed our sweet dishes perfectly.

Loved the vibe here! The African decor is so beautiful and makes the whole place feel so cosy and relaxed. It's exactly the kind of spot you want for a long, lazy catch-up with friends. We ended up staying for ages just chatting.

Tried the red velvet cheesecake on a whim. It was actually really good, not too sweet and the texture was spot on. For the price, a solid choice.

Found this spot after shopping. The tonkotsu ramen was so rich and warming, just what I needed. The chicken gyoza were spot on too. A lovely little break.

Food was very tasty, especially salmon tacos. I had a feeling to return next day to order them again. Had to move my booking 30 minutes before it to a later time without any problems. After ordering only 1 main for 2 people, as steak portion was big for me alone, waiter returned with offer of complimentary side. Seemed nice if my partner didn’t joke about reason for that - us being poor students and not able to afford dining. It left mixed feelings. During table cleaning sauce dish was overturned leaving sauce stain on the table where after was put the bill. Minor thing on the way of brilliant kitchen work. I will happily return to try more.

The staff are lovely, really take time to chat. Food's good quality and the prices are fair. Delivery was quick when I ordered last week.

Vegan sausage roll was a nice surprise, really tasty. The hot drink options are decent, but I prefer the cold ones on a warm day like this. Solid spot for a quick bite.

The staff were really nice, especially with our little one. His food came out super fast, which was a lifesaver. Just a chill spot for a family meal.

Great location in the city centre. Always get a table quickly, even when it's busy.

The mutton tikka was cooked just right, really tender. I appreciated how fresh the meat tasted. Just wish the portion was a bit more generous for what you pay.

The refurb is nice, but the menu changes are the real win. That smash burger is spot on - juicy, crispy edges, just right. The chips were good too, proper and hot.

The staff are really friendly and efficient. Stan, the owner, was so patient when I asked about gluten-free options. He took the time to explain the ingredients in detail, which I really appreciated. Made me feel well looked after.

Clean toilets and good parking are a plus. The 90-minute limit is handy to know if you're meeting friends.

Great spot for a quick bite. Grabbed a steak and a pint outside. Perfect for a summer evening. Service was quick, which is all I need on a lunch break. The steak was decent. Would pop in again.

Spacious spot in the Old Market centre, parking was easy. Came for a quick solo lunch. The chicken schnitzel was decent, crispy and filling. Could've used a bit more seasoning though. Service was alright, nothing too slow.

Lovely shaded beer garden, perfect for a sunny afternoon. They even brought water bowls for our dogs! Staff were super friendly and managed to seat our group of eight straight away.

The chicken curry special was a nice surprise. The chicken was tender, and the sauce had a good depth of flavour without being too heavy. The chips were perfectly crisp. A solid, satisfying meal for the price.

The set menu B is solid, and the Peking beef is always cooked just right.

Been coming here for years, their chicken tikka masala never disappoints. Just picked some up for dinner, still get that same friendly greeting at the counter.

Came here with friends last night. The crispy squid was so good, we ordered a second plate! The king prawn fried rice was tasty too. Perfect for sharing and chatting over. A bit on the pricier side, but the vibe was just right for our group.

Loved the scotch egg starter here. The sausage meat was perfectly seasoned and the yolk was still runny. Nice to see a menu with plenty of gluten-free and veggie options too.

Been coming here for years. The haddock is always fresh, cooked to order. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry. A solid local chippy.

Been here a few times now, and Ameena always makes it so nice. She remembers what we like to drink, which is a small thing but really makes you feel welcome. Just a great spot to catch up with mates.

Grabbed a quick lunch here, it was packed. My order came out in about 15 minutes, which was a nice surprise. The flavours were spot on, really hit the spot for a busy day.

Cosy little spot, just what I needed after a long day. Went for the roast meats - the pork was so tender and had this lovely crispy crackling. Simple, filling, and exactly what you want for a quick meal.
