The suspended coffee board is a nice touch. The portions are huge, definitely needed a doggy bag.

The Panam burger was the star. Juicy patty, crisp lettuce, the works. The beef and ale pie had a rich, deep gravy. But that brownie... warm, fudgy centre, a bit of sea salt on top. Just right.

Booking via Facebook was easy. We sat at the middle bar table, good for sharing tapas. The set menu items were all piping hot, full of flavor. The specials were the same.

Proper pub, great beer selection. The English bitter was a real treat. Sat by the window with a pint, the view of the river was just lovely. Exactly what I was after.

The Gobi Manchurian was the reason I came back. So much flavour in those crispy cauliflower bites. Just wish they had it more often, had to settle for something else this time.

The staff here are always so lovely. Even on a packed Friday evening, they were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It's a real comfort to know you'll be looked after.

Lucian was great with my allergies. He knew the menu inside out, checked everything twice. Felt safe ordering here, which is a relief when you're in a rush. Quick service too.

Good spot for a casual drink. The pool tables are a nice touch, and there's plenty of room to move around.

Came here before a concert at the Philharmonic. The service was really nice - they were around when you needed them but never hovered. Just the right amount of attention.

The wings are the star here. Perfectly crispy, with a spice level that builds slowly. I kept going back for more. The tacos were solid, but those wings are what I’ll be thinking about.

Had a nice meal here. The service was friendly and efficient, which made for a pleasant visit. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, though the music was a touch loud for my taste. A solid spot for a casual dinner.

Love this little spot for a catch-up with friends. The staff are so lovely and chatty, makes you feel right at home. Full English for £5.50 in the city centre is a proper steal. It can get a bit busy on weekends though!

The portions here are huge for what you pay! Perfect for grabbing a big takeaway to share with mates. We just parked on the street nearby and picked it up, super easy.

The Sri Lankan curries here are so fresh. You can really taste the quality in the vegetables and the spices, they don't feel heavy at all. It's a nice change from the usual takeaway options. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for good ingredients.

Decent dim sum selection here. The har gow wrappers were nicely thin, and the filling had a good bite. They also do this dice game thing where you can win a free meal, which was a fun touch.

The Sunday roast beef was cooked just right, still a bit pink inside. The Yorkshire pudding was huge and crispy on the edges, perfect for soaking up all the gravy. Could have used a bit more horseradish sauce though.

Been coming here for years, and what keeps me coming back is the consistency. Even on a packed Saturday, the service stays solid. Our server Cai today was great—kept us in the loop without us having to ask. Food arrived hot, just like it always does. That's what matters to me.

always enjoy coming here for food, staff always friendly and helpful, food is really enjoyable x

First time trying their sizzling ginger beef. It came out on a hot plate, still sizzling and smelling incredible. The beef was really tender and the ginger flavour was spot on. A solid find.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are still just as generous as ever. I’ve tried most things on the menu over time, and it’s always a solid, filling meal. That’s what keeps me coming back.

The team here are so friendly and chatty, really makes for a lovely atmosphere. They stayed open late on a holiday for us, which was a nice touch. It's just a very comfortable place to have a meal.

Came for the early bird specials and wasn't disappointed! The menu had so many options it was hard to choose. Ended up with the seafood pasta and it was spot on. The place itself is lovely and clean, felt really welcoming.

Kerrie and the team were so polite and helpful. It just makes the whole visit feel a bit nicer, you know?

Been coming here for years for my afternoon tea. It's the little historic details that keep me coming back - feels like stepping into another time. Prices are still decent for the area.

Friendly staff, really good with kids. My little one was fussy but they were patient and even brought a small toy. Made a casual lunch much easier.

Been coming here for years, and the bacon on the full English is always spot on. Crispy, not too fatty, just right. The rest can be a bit hit or miss sometimes, but that bacon keeps me coming back.

The staff were really thoughtful. They noticed we had sandwiches to take away and offered to cut them up for us, even putting them on proper plates. Little touches like the chocolate with the coffee make a difference.

The lamb qouzi was lovely and tender. Portions are generous for the price, which is nice. I found the booth seating quite comfortable for a relaxed meal.
