Been coming here for years, it's a proper local. The beer selection is always spot on. Portions are big, you won't leave hungry. The fish and chips last Friday was exactly what you want from a pub meal.

Service was quick and friendly, even on a busy Saturday night. They checked in on us a couple of times without being overbearing. My only small note is that the main course took a little while, but they were apologetic about it.

As a coeliac, it's a relief to find a place that handles it so well. The staff were friendly and my starter and main were both pretty good. No fuss at all, which is nice.

Came with a few mates. The food was solid, generous portions, and the staff were really attentive. I was pleased they had a decent Malbec by the glass—went perfectly with the steak. A good spot for a casual dinner.

The mezze platter was a lovely start. But the grilled lamb skewers were the real star - so tender and full of flavour. Turkish coffee to finish was the perfect, slightly bitter endnote.

That lemongrass pork chop was spot on. The flavour was really something, and for just an extra £2 to get a drink on a sweltering day? Can't argue with that.

Stopped by in Woolton. Pasta was fantastic, really solid. The manager was on it, staff were kind. Even saw the gelato room next door. Good spot.

The Chana Saag here is a real find. It’s got this lovely depth of flavour and the spinach is so fresh. Honestly, I’d come back just for that. Nice to see a good veggie selection too.

Stumbled in after a walk. It's a proper family-run spot, you can feel it. Got the daily pasta special – simple, but cooked just right. That kind of relaxed, no-fuss vibe is hard to find.

The burger was juicy and cooked just right. But what really got me was the vibe—soft lighting, a low hum of chatter, and that warm, woody smell. Felt like a proper little escape.

Been coming here for years. Their red donner is still made fresh, which is why I keep coming back.

Nice spot for a quiet chat. The old building has a cool vibe with some modern bits inside. Food was decent, but the main thing was just having a relaxed meal without any rush.

My Japanese mother is quite fussy, but she approved. The ingredients tasted really fresh, which is lovely.

First time trying Vietnamese food and it was delicious. The flavours were so interesting and authentic. Can't wait to go back and try more from the menu.

Been here for all three meals now. The menu's huge, but the standout for me was the breakfast pancakes – fluffy and not too sweet. Never had a bad dish.

A solid brunch spot for sure. Popped in on a weekday and it was nice and relaxed. The smashed avocado on sourdough was spot on – just the right amount of chilli kick. Coffee was good too.

The owners are genuinely lovely people, really attentive. They recommended a fantastic local red to go with my steak, which was spot on. The whole evening just felt relaxed because of them. A proper neighbourhood spot.

Loved the salt and pepper fries here. The seasoning was spot on and they tasted really fresh.

Vegan pizza was a solid choice for a quick lunch. Cooked just right, nice and crispy. Got it in under 10 minutes, which is what I needed. Flavor was good, no complaints. Price felt fair for the speed.

Came for the Sunday roast with a couple of friends. The beef was so tender and the gravy was spot on. It’s a proper cosy spot for a long, chatty lunch. Service was really attentive without being fussy. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

The salt and pepper chicken wings are a must-order. They’re crispy and well-seasoned every time. The staff’s habit of throwing in a few complimentary prawn crackers is a nice touch. Paired perfectly with a cold lager.

The Sunday roast is the star here. The beef was spot on, and the Yorkshire puddings had that proper homemade taste. Generous portions, everything arrived piping hot. A solid choice for a lazy weekend lunch.
