The lunch set had a good mix. Nigiri was fresh, rice had the right bite. Chawanmushi was smooth, with a subtle dashi flavor. Everything was plated simply. Just a solid, focused meal.

The buffalo mozzarella Margherita is simple and tasty. For the price, I expected a slightly bigger portion though.

Decent izakaya with solid ingredients. The prep is careful, feels a bit more upscale than usual. Prices are okay, especially if you're used to Tokyo.

A bit tricky to find in the Aeon basement, but worth it for a quick meal. The seats are comfortable, which is nice when you're tired from shopping. I just had a simple bowl, and it was exactly what I needed.

Great spot for a quick coffee right by Sendai Station. The big windows are nice for people-watching. I had a cold brew, which was solid, but I wish they had a more interesting seasonal option to pair with a pastry.

I was surprised by how many different offal options they had. The beef aorta was really good, quite tender. The price seemed fair for what you get. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal feel very relaxed.

No reservation, got seated right away at lunch. Beef cutlet set was solid, rice and pickles were good too. The sunken kotatsu seating is comfy for a quick meal.

Fresh seafood, especially the grilled scallops. The vibe is fun and loud, perfect for a group dinner.

This place is a hidden gem! The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The owners' passion for hospitality really shines through.

The staff was really nice. I asked if they could do something different with the shirako, and they made a special gunkan-maki for me. Paired it with a crisp, cold sake—that was the highlight.

The wontons are wonderfully smooth, and the noodles have a silky texture that is truly delightful.

The seri hot pot is always good here. Their tsukune chicken meatballs are my go-to order.

The staff were so patient explaining the ingredients in each pastry. Really appreciated their attention to detail.

Been coming here for years. The team is always on it - you order, and the food's at your table before you know it. That kind of steady, reliable service is what keeps me coming back.

The Japanese pasta is a fun concept, eating it with chopsticks is different. I liked the seasonal one. Just felt a bit too open sitting by the door, not the most cozy spot.

The seared fish was decent, with the raw garlic adding a nice touch. It's a Kochi-style preparation, which was interesting to try. A pretty good dish overall.

Portions are decent for the price. It's a busy place, so booking ahead for dinner is necessary. We had to wait a bit even with a reservation. Food was solid.

The portion of Sanriku sea urchin here is quite generous for the price. It's a good deal, especially when you think about what you'd pay in a bigger city. The seat was comfortable, which made the meal feel relaxed.

Good for a quiet business dinner. Staff was attentive and responsive. The location is discreet, which I prefer. Food was decent, but the price point felt a bit high for what you get.

The Skirt Skirt Meal lunch set is the reason to come. The Sendai beef was incredibly tender, cooked just right. The set comes with rice, miso soup, and a small salad. It’s a solid deal for the quality of meat you get. Found it by the subway exit.

The lamb and wild boar were both cooked perfectly, no gamey taste at all. Staff knew the menu well.

Got the Yakisuki. Staff grilled the meat right at the table. Dipping it in the raw egg yolk was the best part. Rich and creamy.
