Stumbled upon this family-run spot. Seeing them eating their own food was a good sign. The meal was fresh and came out fast.

The breakfast was the real star. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the bacon had a nice crisp to it. The coffee was strong and rich, just how I like it. Service was friendly, but honestly, I was just there for the food.

The lamb salad wrap was full of flavour, fresh ingredients. Coffee was good too. Nice spot for a quick lunch.

The food is cooked fresh when you order, which is nice. I had a pudding and the pastry was perfectly crisp. The staff were very friendly and happy to help, whether you're just popping in for a coffee or a proper meal. A comfortable spot.

Having arrived an hour sooner than booked the friendly staff let us have a table straight away. They took our order promptly and the food arrived quickly. We thought the meal was excellent. The ambience was just right, an attractive spacious dining lounge, quiet and friendly. All round a great experience and good value too. We will definitely go there again.

Been coming here for years, and I always appreciate that they have decaf and oat milk available at no extra cost. It's a small thing, but it makes a difference for me.

Lovely spot above the bookshop. The loose leaf tea pot is huge, really generous. Spent a quiet afternoon there with my book. The tea itself was fine, maybe a little weak for my taste. But the setting is just right.

Been coming here for years, and the sandwiches are always fresh. Love watching them make it right there with the stuff from the fridge. Perfect for a quiet bite by the water.

Been coming here for a while, the fish and chips are always solid. The curry sauce is the real star though, so rich and flavourful. Portions are generous for the price.

Lovely, welcoming team. The food is beautiful, especially the freshness of the ingredients in the salad. You can really taste the quality. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was attentive. A very pleasant spot for a light lunch.

The young guy at the counter was really helpful, sorted my takeaway order quickly. The rest of the staff were friendly too. Service was efficient, which is what I needed.

A proper local pub. Mark and his mum are lovely, really make you feel at home. The new air con is a godsend on a warm day, and the garden out back is a nice spot. Just what you need.

The staff were so kind when my little one wasn’t well. A glass of their house red was just what I needed to unwind afterwards.

The coffee’s always spot on. But what really gets me is the warm croissant—flaky, buttery, just the right kind of cosy for a quiet morning.

Always a solid choice for a quick coffee. The flat white is consistently smooth, just how I like it. Their ham and cheese toastie hits the spot every time - simple and reliable.

The pastries are top-notch, especially the Danish. The chairs were quite comfortable too, which made a nice difference.

Great spot for getting work done. Plenty of space, quiet during the week. Shame they close a bit early. Love the dockside location though.

Been back twice for their Turkish breakfast. Honestly, the best I've found in England. The spread is generous for £15 (drinks are extra). Those cappuccinos are a real highlight, too.

The BLT was really good even as takeaway. The bacon was crispy, the lettuce fresh, and the bread held up well. They wrote a little note on my orange juice lid, which was a nice touch.

The vegan scone was a lovely treat, and I really appreciated how patiently the staff answered my questions about allergens. It made for a relaxed, worry-free afternoon.

Been coming here for years. Their shakshuka is the one thing I always get. Perfectly cooked eggs, rich tomato sauce, just hits the spot every single time.

The coffee is always spot on. Love that they have so many dairy-free milk choices. I grabbed a bag of their own beans to take home.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are what keep me coming back. They remember your name, ask about your week, and just make it feel like a proper local spot. Always a friendly face, never feels rushed.

The coffee was good, strong and not bitter. Sat by the river, the view of the old viaduct was nice. Just a decent spot to have a cup and watch the water.

Been coming here for years. The baked potato with tuna mayo, beans and cheese is my go-to. It’s a massive plate, comes with a proper salad, and you won’t leave hungry. Hard to beat for the price around here.
