Been back twice for their Turkish breakfast. Honestly, the best I've found in England. The spread is generous for £15 (drinks are extra). Those cappuccinos are a real highlight, too.

The BLT was really good even as takeaway. The bacon was crispy, the lettuce fresh, and the bread held up well. They wrote a little note on my orange juice lid, which was a nice touch.

The vegan scone was a lovely treat, and I really appreciated how patiently the staff answered my questions about allergens. It made for a relaxed, worry-free afternoon.

Been coming here for years. Their shakshuka is the one thing I always get. Perfectly cooked eggs, rich tomato sauce, just hits the spot every single time.

The vegan sushi platter was a solid choice. For the price, you get a really generous portion. Everything tasted fresh and was nicely presented. I was pleasantly surprised by how much food there was.

The coffee was good, strong and not bitter. Sat by the river, the view of the old viaduct was nice. Just a decent spot to have a cup and watch the water.

Been coming here for years. The baked potato with tuna mayo, beans and cheese is my go-to. It’s a massive plate, comes with a proper salad, and you won’t leave hungry. Hard to beat for the price around here.

Cosy family-run spot, the outdoor seating was lovely. Had a nice slice of cake with my coffee.

Afternoon tea. Scones were light, especially the cheese ones. Sandwiches were homemade. Cakes looked lovely. Presentation was spot on.

Stopped by for a quick coffee. Ended up trying their homemade fruit scones - warm, with clotted cream and jam. Very good. Staff were friendly and efficient, which is what you need for a fast pit stop.

Even on a packed Friday night, we got seated right away. The staff are so efficient, and the bar area never feels crowded. It's a relief not to have to wait around.

A lovely little place. Monica and Tony were so welcoming, they really made us feel at home. The room was very comfortable, especially the armchair by the window – perfect for a quiet read. A real find in Helmsley.

Nice spot for brunch. The full English breakfast was solid, good portion size. French toast was decent. Staff were friendly and efficient. Good to see it's dog-friendly. Convenient location for a quick weekend meal.

Been coming here for years, and their vanilla matcha latte never disappoints. It's the one thing I always get.

Sat outside for brunch. The stack was tasty, but the poached egg was a bit runny for me. Partner liked his bacon sandwich.

Huge menu at this local spot. Portions are generous for the price, especially coming from London.

Popped in for a quick lunch and the pasty was spot on. Really hit the spot. They had a decent selection of local ales too, which paired nicely with the rich filling. A solid choice for a bite.

A proper pub in Leeds centre. Their Trappist and European beer list is the real draw. Staff know their stuff, happy to offer a taste before you order. My kind of place for a quiet pint.

Been coming here for years, and their almond and cherry croissant is still the one thing I always get. It's just consistently good - flaky, not too sweet, with that perfect bit of jam. That's why I keep coming back.

Came here for a catch-up with a mate. The vibe is so relaxed, just right for a long chat. We shared the beef stew – proper hearty stuff that hit the spot.

The pork tenderloin arrives sizzling on a trolley - such a cool presentation! The meat itself was really tender.

Had an early dinner by the window. The food arrived on hot plates, which was a nice touch. What stood out for me was how fresh the ingredients tasted, especially in the salad. A really relaxed, simple meal.

Really enjoyed the vegan butter paneer curry here. The flavours were nicely layered. The tofu had a surprisingly good texture, very close to the real thing. Menu is huge, which is great for plant-based options. Portion was decent for the price.

The handwritten birthday card and little dessert were a thoughtful touch. I was particularly impressed with their wine list - the sommelier suggested a lovely bottle that paired beautifully with our mains. Made the evening feel a bit more special.

Decent spot for a quick bite. The burger was pretty good, definitely better than the usual fast food fare. Prices are a bit steep, but it's fine for a treat now and then.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made our dining experience enjoyable despite the restaurant being busy.
