The mussels in white wine sauce were fantastic, and the focaccia was so fresh. But that lamb shank with red wine sauce and mash? Unbelievable. The tortellini was the best I've had outside Italy, honestly.

Beverley Carluccios has a really welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Even when busy, there is a calm about the place. The staff are happy and helpful. The place makes me feel happy to be there. The food is consistently excellent with lots of Italian flavours.

Lovely spot by the river, great for a sunny day drink. But the prices for a glass of wine were a bit steep for what you get. Still, the view of the cathedral is hard to beat.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The pasta was simple but really fresh, tasted like proper home cooking. Staff were friendly and didn't rush us. Solid spot.

The cod was huge, flaky, and the batter was spot on. Chips were just right too, not too soft or hard. Really hit the spot after a long walk.

Came for breakfast with my dog, sat outside. The portion sizes really stood out for the price, very generous. My plate was full, and it was all tasty. Good value for a proper meal.

The tonkotsu ramen broth was rich and creamy, just the right level of salty. The chashu pork belly melted in your mouth. The katsu chicken was crispy on the outside, but the meat inside was a little dry this time.

The curry sauce here is spot on, really rich and flavourful. Nice to see a proper shandy on the menu too, you don't see that much anymore. A solid, classic pub meal.

The food arrived quickly, even at peak time. I really appreciated that the ingredients tasted fresh and the dishes were still hot. The grilled vegetables were a nice, healthy option too.

The pizza crust was spot on, and the staff were really friendly. Good for a takeaway.

The waffle sticks are so fluffy and warm, just perfect for a first-time visit. The cookie dough is gooey and packed with chocolate, a real treat.

Managed to snag a table on a busy Saturday, no reservation! The online menu is handy for checking their seasonal stuff. The hummus was so creamy, and the roasted corn had this perfect smoky char. Really hit the spot.

The Jaipur ale was spot on, a proper pint. Went brilliantly with the lamb boti kebab, really cut through the spice. Staff were friendly, made you feel at home. A solid spot for a pint and a bite.

Been here a few times for the football. Tables are always clean, staff are friendly. Food's decent, had the fish and chips last time - proper portion, not greasy. Good spot if you want a pint and the game on.

Lucas and Mariel were so attentive last night, even with the place packed. They just had a way of making you feel looked after without hovering. Really nice.

Been coming here for years. The beef can be a bit hit or miss, sometimes a little chewy. But I keep coming back for the whole experience – there's something about cooking it yourself at the table that just feels right. The selection is always good.

The tandoori supreme pizza is a solid choice. The base is nicely done, and the toppings are fresh. For the price though, I wish the portion was a bit bigger. It's decent, just not the best value.

Tayler was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The ingredients in my salad were incredibly fresh, which really stood out.

Cosy spot, good for a chill meal. Food looks nice, service is smooth. Had the steak pie, proper filling.

Chicken tikka masala for a quick lunch. It's good they're back open. Got my food fast, which is key for a short break. The sauce was rich, chicken tender. Hit the spot.

The Sunday roast is a proper treat! The beef was so tender, and the roasties were spot on. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with mates.

Been grabbing their takeout for ages now. The team is just consistently nice, you know? Always a quick smile and a friendly chat when I pop in. Makes the whole pick-up process feel a bit more pleasant.

The outdoor balcony is a real highlight. Grabbed a table there on a sunny afternoon, and it was just so pleasant. The whole space has a nice, relaxed vibe to it.

First time here and the portions are huge! Shared a few different dishes with a friend and still had leftovers. Really good for trying a bit of everything without breaking the bank.

Stopped in early Saturday. Barista Astray was very welcoming, made a good flat white. Quick service, quiet spot to start the day. A solid local option.

The khao soi was pretty good, a decent bowl of that rich curry broth. The chicken breast in it was a touch dry, but the noodles and overall flavour were fine. A solid choice for Thai food.

The masterclass with Dante was a treat. He explained things clearly, and I picked up a few little tricks I'll use at home. A really nice way to spend an afternoon.

Shared the "meal for one" with my colleague. The 1/4 duck portion was surprisingly generous for two. Good flavour, fair price. Place is very clean. Service was efficient, got us in and out for a quick business lunch.
