The Black Sheep ale here is spot on. It’s got that proper malty depth, not too bitter. Theakstons was a bit too fruity for my taste, but the Black Sheep is the one.

We came for a family dinner. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in my salad, the greens were crisp and the avocado perfectly ripe. It felt like a thoughtful, healthy choice. The setting was relaxed, which was nice for catching up.

Been here a few times with the kids. Staff are always patient, and the kids' menu is actually decent. Prices are fair for what you get. It's a reliable choice when you don't want a fuss.

The lamb and chicken are from a local butcher, you can tell. Nice quality cuts. The owners are super friendly, made us feel welcome right away.

The daily special is such good value. Portions are generous, which is always nice. I had a very comfortable meal here, the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A relaxed spot for a midweek dinner.

The staff are friendly and quick, even when it's packed. They're happy to suggest things from the menu. My order came out fast.

Had a decent breakfast here. The sausages were pretty good, and everything on the plate was cooked fine. A solid spot for a morning meal.

A really nice, cosy spot. The staff were so friendly and made me feel right at home. My latte was perfect, and the avocado toast was fresh and nicely presented. Just a lovely, relaxed place for a quiet bite.

Stopped by for lunch, got the chicken tagine and a gyros. The tagine portion was huge, honestly could have shared it. Gyros was decent size too. Ended up taking half the tagine home, plus a fruit crumble for later. Felt like I got two meals for the price of one.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday and had a 3-course dinner. They have a very good portion and the food was delicious. What we truly appreciate also is their staff Ms. Cornilia, though it was quite busy when we came in, she was very accommodating and helpful to our needs. She is constantly joyful and works with class. We will definitely come back.

As a vegetarian who can't have dairy, I really value how they take the time to prepare my meal separately. It's a small thing, but it means I can actually relax and enjoy the food without worrying.

A lovely, cozy spot. The chicken dish was exceptional - the meat was so fresh and perfectly cooked. A nice change for a Friday.

First time here. Steaks were fantastic, really hot and cooked just right. The place itself is warm and cozy, staff were friendly. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The evening special was a total win. The portion was huge, and the flavours were spot on. Really hit the spot for a casual weeknight dinner.

Tried the set dinner. Good way to try a few things. The Chinese tea was a nice touch. Went well with the food.

I was impressed by how fresh the ingredients were. The vegetables in the stir-fry had a lovely crispness, and the chicken tasted very clean. The setting is nice, but it was the quality of the produce that stood out for me. A good spot for a healthy meal.

Having arrived an hour sooner than booked the friendly staff let us have a table straight away. They took our order promptly and the food arrived quickly. We thought the meal was excellent. The ambience was just right, an attractive spacious dining lounge, quiet and friendly. All round a great experience and good value too. We will definitely go there again.

I liked their ordering system. You write your order on a little board and clip it up yourself. It's straightforward and keeps things moving, even when the place is packed. A nice touch.

Been coming here for years. The food's still as good as I remember, and the staff are just as friendly. It's nice to see a place that doesn't change for the worse. Had the steak pie again, spot on.

Been coming here for years, and their classic burger and fries never disappoint. The fries are always crispy, and you get a decent portion. It’s just a solid, reliable meal.

The traditional floor seating here is so unique and comfortable. Really adds to the whole experience.

Decent portions for the price. The menu has a good mix of classics and some more unique Thai options.

Been coming here for a while, the fish and chips are always solid. The curry sauce is the real star though, so rich and flavourful. Portions are generous for the price.
