The owner is so cheerful, always says hello with a big smile. My sirloin steak was cooked just how I like it, simple and good. A nice, straightforward meal.

The beef tongue stew was really good, tender and rich. I also ordered the gyutan curry ramen from the other menu, which was a nice surprise. A bit pricey but fun to try different things in one place.

Stopped by for a late Saturday lunch. The Yabu Tempura Zaru Soba was pretty good. Tempura was hot and crispy, noodles had a nice bite. The dipping sauce was just salty enough for me. Place was steady but not too crowded. A solid choice.
