Solid lunch spot right after landing in GDL. Food came quick, well-seasoned, no complaints there. Server kept checking on us, table stayed clean. Place gets loud though, especially on weekends. Fine if you're not looking for a quiet meal.

The torta was solid and the price felt fair for the area. Just don't be in a rush—service moves at its own pace here. Also, my glass could've been cleaner.

Good spot for the cathedral show at night. Watermelon agua fresca was way too sweet though. Live Latin music made it better. 👍

Solid seafood spot in GDL. Got the shrimp tacos and they were fresh, price was right too. Place was packed but we still got our food fast. Just expect a wait if you go on a weekend.

Stopped by for lunch near the Riu. Owner came by to check on us, decent service. Provoleta was solid, empanadas did the job. Nothing fancy but fair for the price.

Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed and relatively quiet.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the brisket plate. Meat was tender, smoky, just the right amount of fat. Staff actually took time to chat, even gave us a couple pointers for the rest of our trip. Place has that casual vibe, nothing fancy. Price felt fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're craving BBQ around here.

Stopped by for barbacoa and honestly it hit the spot. Meat was super tender, real Hidalgo style. Wrapped it in their corn tortillas, still warm. Got café de olla too, good and sweet. Only thing, the salsas were kinda mild for me. They brought raw chilies on the side, that helped. Place was busy but line moved fast.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and honestly the shrimp empanadas were the highlight. Crispy, hot, really well seasoned. Aguachiles were fresh too, nice kick to them. Place is small, gets a bit tight when it's busy, but we didn't wait long for a table. Service was attentive without hovering. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something light but tasty.

Stopped by for breakfast, grabbed the chilaquiles mixtos with chorizo. Solid, man. The Italian soda was a nice touch too. Orange juice came out a little tart, but whatever, the rest made up for it. Good spot if you're in the area and hungry.

The garden area is really nice for relaxing. I noticed they use fresh ingredients in the salads, which I appreciate. Edgar took good care of us.

Came for the chocolate cake, stayed for the whole counter setup. You can mix flavors by the quarter or half pound, which I loved. Cake was super moist, no complaints there. Place is tiny though, so don't come expecting to sit around. Grab your box and go.

Came with a big group and they got us seated fast, no wait at all. The mariachi was loud but it fit the vibe. I had the chicken chipotle and honestly the portion was decent for what you pay. Some of the seafood plates looked smaller though. Not a bad spot if you're hungry and don't wanna break the bank.

Been coming here for a while now. Pizza's still good and the price is right for this neighborhood. Staff was friendly even when it got packed. Not the fanciest spot but it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Pizza had good flavor but the bottom was a little doughy. Pasta was solid though. Service took a while but whatever, food came out hot. Fine spot if you're not in a rush.

Chili rellenos were huge—one plate was honestly enough for two people. And they were done right, not all greasy. Drinks were half off too, which never hurts. Place is right in the middle of everything, so you can't beat it for the price. Would go back just for that.

The garlic soup was rich and comforting, honestly worth the stop by itself. The tapas and dipping sauces were a nice touch, though the seating area felt a bit cramped.

The waiter was really nice about my gluten-free allergy. Chilaquiles divorciados hit the spot. 👍

Menudo here is my go-to when I need something warm and comforting. Broth was rich, hominy cooked just right. Got a bowl midweek and it totally hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but honestly that's what I like about it. Place gets busy around lunch though, so grab a seat when you can.

The wonton soup was solid and the sweet and sour chicken hit the spot. Menu is huge, prices fair. Place itself is pretty bare bones though, tables are kinda close together and the lighting is harsh. Staff were nice enough. Fine if you just want quick Chinese comfort food without fuss.

Stopped by for breakfast and honestly the portions caught me off guard—in a good way. Got the chilaquiles and they were solid, not too soggy. Price felt right for what you get. Place was pretty chill for a weekday morning, easy to just sit and chat with friends. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The tasting menu was solid—each plate looked almost too good to eat, honestly. Flavors were bold, not shy. I liked that they switch it up monthly, keeps things interesting. Only thing is the seating felt a bit cramped near the window, but the food made up for it. Service was attentive without hovering.

The ramen here is fantastic! The portions are generous, and the flavors are spot on. I highly recommend trying the gyoza as an appetizer.
