The owner reached out after my last visit&mdash;appreciated that. Chocolate&#39;s still solid, though service depends on who&#39;s behind the counter.

Nice spot right by the canal. Had the croque monsieur and it was exactly what I needed. Service was friendly enough, just a bit busy when I went.

Loved the vintage cups here &mdash; such a nice touch with the coffee. Quiet corner spot, easy to just sit and chat for a while. Dog-friendly too, which was a bonus.

The carrot cake here is legit. Had it last week and still thinking about it. Place is small, like cozy-small, but that&#39;s fine. Staff didn&#39;t make us feel rushed even with the kids making a mess. Only thing is it can get a bit crowded on weekends. But for the cake alone, I&#39;d deal with it.

Burger was surprisingly good, juicy and all. Place is tiny but fine for a quick bite. Fries came out a bit too salty for me though.

We weren&#39;t sure what to expect but it was great! The menu has a lot of choice, we went for the veggie and meat croquettes which come with a gorgeous salad and bread. The service was superb. We loved it.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The ginger and cinnamon coffee is really something else&mdash;warm spices, not too sweet. Banana bread with yogurt on the side was decent, though the slice could&#39;ve been a bit bigger for the price. Cozy spot, but I&#39;d come back just for that coffee.

The charcoal-grilled meat here is seriously good. Got the kebab and it was way better than the usual spots. Their soup&#39;s a nice surprise too.
