Stopped by for a late breakfast and grabbed a cappuccino. It came with a tiny cookie on the side, which I honestly loved. Coffee was solid, nothing crazy, but the vibe was chill enough to hang out for a bit. Wish the pastries were a little fresher though.

The chicken wrap was really good, fresh and juicy. Music was on point too, gave the place a nice vibe. Service got a bit slow once it filled up, but I wasn’t in a rush. Fine for a relaxed stop, just don’t expect a quick in-and-out.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Soup of the day was decent, came with proper bread. Beer list is solid, nothing fancy but well picked. Service was friendly enough, though we waited a bit longer than I'd like. There's a dog wandering around, adds some character. Fine for a casual bite if you're in the area.

Been coming here for years, mostly because of that stoofvlees. Still as good as the first time I tried it. Right across from the cathedral, so the view never gets old either. Service is friendly enough, nothing fancy, but they remember you. That's probably why I keep going back.

Went on a rainy night and honestly the coziness factor is off the charts. We ordered the stew and it hit the spot, super comforting. Staff was friendly too, didn’t rush us at all. Only thing is it got a bit loud when more people came in, but whatever. Good spot to hang with friends. 😊

Stopped by for lunch last week. Had the Strawberries Romanoff since they're in season right now. Done properly, not too sweet. The rest was decent too, nothing to complain about. Place was busy but we got a table without waiting. Probably come back when the menu changes.

We stumbled in after a long walk and the salmon tartare with mango and cucumber really hit the spot. Fresh, light, well seasoned. Tiramisu was solid too, one of the better ones I've had lately. Cozy little place, felt like a proper escape. Just wish they had a bit more staff on the floor, we waited a while to get the bill.

Came for the Belgian beers—25+ taps and some proper classics. Cozy spot with old bottles everywhere.

Nice hidden courtyard in the center. Quiet spot for a coffee, away from the tourist noise. Garden does most of the work. Service was fine, nothing special.

The Karmeliet Grand Cru was the star of our beer crawl 🍺 Cool modern space too, made it feel different from the usual old-school bars.

The prawn in creamy sauce was the best thing we had. Cheese croquettes were so good we should've ordered another round. Cozy little place, nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself. Only downside, it got a bit busy and loud by the time we finished. Still, I'd go back for those croquettes alone.

We stopped in for lunch on a rainy day. The interior is really cozy, that rustic-chic style. I had the stoofvlees, it was tender and the sauce was rich. Service was friendly, our waiter checked on us just the right amount. Only thing, it was a bit busy so we waited a little for the bill. But overall a pleasant, easy lunch.

Steak came out exactly how I asked, medium rare and juicy. Place was packed on a Tuesday night, kinda loud but that energy worked. Server checked in a couple times, never felt rushed. Solid dinner, nothing fancy, just done right. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Came for the food, left thinking about the cocktails. Plating’s pretty, ingredients feel fresh, but flavors were a bit too subtle for me. Coffee was solid though. Seating’s cramped inside, but the outdoor bit saves it. Wouldn’t mind trying more of the menu next time.

The chicken skewer with pita was fresh and juicy, exactly what I needed for lunch. Service was quick too, though I wish the portion had been a bit bigger.

The waffles were properly crispy, not the soft kind. Light and still warm when they came out. Place was packed so we waited a bit for someone to take our order, but honestly the food made up for it. Just wish they had more seating inside. Good spot if you're in the area and craving something sweet.

The waffles were properly crispy on the outside and soft inside, not too sweet either. I tried the homemade chocolate syrup on top and it tasted like actual melted chocolate, not that fake stuff. Pretty solid little spot for a quick treat. Just wish the seating area was a bit bigger, but whatever.

Tried the Italian style and nacho macho burgers with a friend—both were really tasty. Menu’s pretty big, lots of options beyond burgers too. Place was busy but we still got a table easily. Good spot if you’re looking for a casual catch-up over food. Maybe not the quietest, but that’s fine with me.

Stopped by for lunch and the portions are seriously big. Burger was massive, could barely finish it. Prices are fair for what you get. Place was pretty busy but service didn't drag. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, those chairs get hard after a while.

Loved the recyclable packaging and how fresh everything tasted. Plenty of veggie options too. Entrance was a bit chaotic but upstairs was calm enough to sit and chat for a while.

Went for the meatballs, they were solid. Price is a bit steep, €18 or so for a plate, but you can tell they use good meat. Place was busy, had to wait a bit for a table. Not somewhere I'd go every week, but fine for a treat now and then.

The Gentse Waterzooi hit the spot on a cold afternoon. Rich broth, tender chicken, just the right amount of comfort. Sat outside by the river, which was nice even if the breeze got a bit sharp. Service was fine, nothing flashy. Wouldn't mind coming back for that stew again.

Came for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The seating area is actually comfortable for a fast food spot—booths are roomy enough that you don't feel like you're on top of the next table. Got a burger and fries, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Place was clean, which I appreciated. They've got beer at night too, kinda unexpected for McDonald's.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lemon meringue pie keeps me coming back. That tartness with the sweet topping, just right every time. Staff remembers me, which is nice. Place has a certain girly charm to it, not my usual spot but it works. Coffee's decent too, pairs well with the cake. Never had a bad slice.

Stumbled in on a quiet afternoon. Staff were super friendly and the food hit the spot. Cozy vibe, way more than just a creamery.

Decent food, great spot right by the central station. Service was slow, but my wine pairing was spot on.

Tucked away on a quiet side street, the terrace gets lovely afternoon sun. I had the avocado toast and a flat white—the bread was fresh, not too dense, and the avocado was properly ripe. Coffee was smooth, no bitterness. Concept store inside is a nice bonus, though I didn't browse much. Prices are fair for the area. Would come back for a quiet afternoon read.
