Akama Jingu Review

The largest shrine in the city above the street from Karato Market.. It's fun to see the animals in that picture change according to 12 kanji every year.

Akaji Shrine was built in 1191, not far from Chunfan Building and Nichishin Talk and Memorial Hall. Akaji Shrine is a shrine related to the royal family. It is dedicated to Emperor Andrew who died in the battle of Tanzhipu. When the battle of Tanzhipu took place, Emperor Andrew was only 8 years old.
