Bristol International Balloon Fiesta Review

I had fond memories of the night time Bristol balloon fiesta (8 years ago?), so decided to return this year (daytime). Sooo disappointed, it felt like there were hundreds of touristy-type stands (mainly fast food and balloons) and about six balloons in the middle of the field.Parking was also extortionate (£20.00 and you still had to walk half a mile or so) and the parking attendant told us he had turned people away from the priority parking area (pre-booked at additional cost) due to it being full.Sadly, unable to recommend this. It is probably worth taking a picnic and watching the event from a distance :

Wonderful to see this event & its free! you can also camp here which would be great to see the early lift off!Amazing to see the balloons go up such a spectacle a wonderful day lots of side shows food etc nice to take a picnic also.

Magical feeling for the whole family when evening comes and the lights begin to light up the sky.food and drink on site accessible toilets well-behaved dogs welcome fun for the whole family close to hotels B&Bs food

Taking a hot air balloon is still a relatively novel experience, overlooking the city from a high-altitude perspective.

A more exciting experience project, the ride overlooking the city is great.
