Located within one of the gallons of the Railway Museum, here you can find vintage and ancient articles, crafts and other types of objects. The artisans show their products on the coast of the old Andes, and on the bottom there is a food trucks area to eat hamburgers and tapas. You can find from old telephones and cameras to discography. Open weekends.

    4/5Excellent

Nestled within an old train station, Mercado de Motores is truly a sight to see. With vendors selling all types of goods both indoors and outdoors as well as an courtyard area with grilled hamburgers and Spanish eats (think paella and bocadillos), while live music is played. There’s a little of everything at this market, such as homemade marmalades, artensal breads, fluffy blankets, handmade jewelry and even vintage designer heels (Jimmy Choo anyone?). Don’t forget to peer inside the old cars stationed inside the middle of the area. The cars are staged as they would’ve been if they were in use, which gives a fascinating glimpse into the past yesteryears.

This is one of the most beautiful markets in Madrid and also one of the most curiosous. They are mainly places of craftsmanship, clothing and design accessories. If you are looking for a little different gift, this may be the place. On the back of the station there is an open space where you usually put food trucks from hamburgers, hot dogs and fast food in general. In addition, there is often music live. The second weekend of each month is usually celebrated.

The second weekend of each month is dated to this space, salesmen, buyers and curiosity, and this re-conditioned gallon can be walked through the sales points that fall between large locomotives and train wagons. I have found old and design products inside, everything very nice place. And outside, with individuals selling second-hand stuff. You can really find nice things!
