Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park Review

Donggu Abdul Raman National Park is a very cost-effective and worth experiencing Dongma Seaside Resort. It is composed of multiple islands. During the trip to Dongma, I regret that I didn’t have time to arrange a trip to Mermaid Island and Huantan Island, but fortunately I took a day to go to several small islands in Donggu Abdul Raman National Park. The distance is also very short (15-30 minutes boat trip), and it also fully appreciates the style of the Malaysian island.

The names of the islands are symbolic of their history and early discoverers. Pulau Gaya (‘big’), Manukan (‘fish’), Mamutik (‘for shell collection’), Sapi (the sound of a mowing buffalo), and Sulug (commemorating the ancestry of the Sulu peoples of Sabah). Initially, the Park covered two islands - Gaya and Sapi. In 1979, the Park’s boundaries expanded to include three other islands : Manukan, Sulug, and Mamutik.The administrative centre of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is in the Manukan island, however each of the five islands had its own administrative offices.

It is a collection of islands close to the city of Kota Kinabalu that you can visit for manda bathing, snorkeling or scuba diving. What's fun is because these islands are close to each other. So you can visit several islands in one visit.

这个国家公园其实就是几个跳岛，包括马努干岛，沙比岛，马穆迪岛，景色很不错，岛上设施一般，有一些机动项目，吃的话有快餐提供，直接在码头按需买票即可，离市区不远，快艇至多15分钟可以抵达，其实玩2个岛足以。

The price of snorkeling here is really cheap. We can't use dozens of snorkeling dollars to go to sea. We need the quality of the Great Barrier Reef, right?
