Alice Springs Desert Park
A bit like Noah's Ark, this desert park brings together all the animals of central Australia and puts them in convenient locations for viewing. The park is divided into desert area, sand area and forest area, and you can mingle with this vast desert and more than 120 kinds of animals and more than 350 kinds of plants that live in it by walking. There is a 1.6-kilometer walking trail in the park, which is easy and pleasant to walk. If you are lucky, you can also encounter kangaroos, wild boars and short fat wrens during the visit. The park faithfully reproduces the habitats of the animals, and the park provides helpful signboards that explain the changing seasons and how local indigenous people adapt to their natural environment and use these natural changes to plan their lives. In the nocturnal animal exhibition hall, you can observe the living conditions of nocturnal animals such as owls, bats and rodents in the dark, as well as endangered bandicoots and ghost bats. Rainbow Valley Conservation Reserve
From Alice Springs, drive 77 kilometers south on the Stewart Highway, turn into a four-wheel drive road, and drive another 24 kilometers to reach the Rainbow Valley Reserve. The cliffs that rise from the flat ground in the reserve are creamy below and orange above, especially in the early morning and dusk. The sandstone here contains iron, which is dissolved by water in the rainy season and reappears in the dry season, thus creating colorful cliffs. Along the marked hiking trails, you can take in the colorful rock formations to the aptly named Mushroom Rock. Alice Springs Desert Park is a large desert landscape park in Australia. Looking around here is a vast desert Gobi, but there are also many green plants and oases. You can drive an off-road vehicle in the desert and enjoy the exciting sand rush. Although it is a desert, it is not particularly dry and is still worth visiting.

I have been here a few times to watch the sunset, enjoy the views of the bay and islands, and take in the area. It is easy to drive to the top, but once there it is more difficult to walk, stay on the trails to enjoy the views that are unlike any other. There are also information signs, a gift shop, and clean restrooms. This place is always crowded, so plan your visit accordingly.
