Around 9:00 AM, guests with cable car tickets will take the rainforest cable car at Smithfield Station. Guests without cable car tickets will take the bus up the mountain.
Take the rainforest cable car (Skyrail) from Smithfield Cable Car Station to Kuranda. You can get off at Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station along the way, with the entire journey taking about 1 hour.
10:30 AM–12:00 PM Free time in Kuranda Village
The cable car arrives at Kuranda Station, where you'll have about 1 hour of free time to explore Kuranda village. Kuranda is a hub for art, crafts, and indigenous culture, with local markets offering excellent opportunities to purchase authentic souvenirs. (During peak season, due to train and cable car schedule constraints, there may not be sufficient time to visit the village. We appreciate your understanding.)
12:00 PM–3:00 PM Visit the Tropical Rainforest Park
The bus will take you to Rainforestation Nature Park, where you can watch indigenous mimicry dances, try your hand at throwing boomerangs and spears, play the didgeridoo, ride an Army Duck (amphibious military vehicle used in WWII) to explore the ancient rainforest, interact with kangaroos at the zoo, and visit the tropical fruit orchard.
Guests who have booked lunch can enjoy an Australian-style BBQ lunch in the park. (Lunch at own expense)
3:00 PM Depart from Kuranda Railway Station to KUR-Cow Barnwell Farm, approx. 15 min drive
Farm staff will guide you to visit the animals and participate in a hayride feeding activity (visitors ride a covered hay wagon through the pasture to interact with Wagyu cattle up close, feed them high-quality hay grown on the farm, and take photos with these gentle animals). On-site activities like jungle ATV rides and horseback riding are also available for booking.
Enjoy a Wagyu beef dinner at the ranch
