Changbai Mountain Tianchi is also a must-see in life. When you stand on the top of the mountain and overlook the lake, it is so beautiful. The mountain road up the mountain also has eighteen bends. The driver's driving skills are also great, and the experience is super strong. Please remember to wear more clothes as the wind is strong on the top of the mountain.★

Rachel contacted me in advance through email then through WeChat to explain the details of the join in tour. Then a group WeChat was created together with the driver.I was told that this was a Chinese speaking join-in tour without a tour guide and I understood. Everything went well until I was singled-out from the rest of the Chinese speaking group. However the driver still looked out for me through WeChat asking where I was and told me I should be where at what time. After finishing the Lijiang Impression show at about 1430 pm I was asked about a group meal which I declined. The driver explained that the others in the group were going to be late (when asked how late he said very late about 1930-2000 pm late)and gave me the option either to wait for them or go back home myself taking a taxi/bus. I opted for the bus but have to pay RMB15 for myself he said. He gave me instructions on how and where to board and get off the bus. I got off at Guchengkou★

After payment, a wechat was formed informing us of our itinerary. Closer to the date, the driver was added and the pickup time was confirmed. I like it that there are always someone around if we needed answers. On the actual day, pickup was on schedule and the driver was very friendly. When requested to change the dropoff to another location after all the activities ended, the driver was also obliging. We appreciated the smooth run of the whole trip. Thanks!★

Luckily, Queenstown was blessed with a rare sunny day (starting tomorrow, it'll rain for at least ten days straight), so at 11 PM last night, we suddenly decided to scrap our original plans for the Fiordland Islands and start booking helicopter tickets to the snowy mountains. Fortunately, we found a super reliable agent, and after much trouble, we finally secured a spot on this morning's newly added helicopter flight. However, this morning, as we arrived at the agreed pick-up point and waited for the minibus to pick us up, we received a call saying the flight had been canceled due to insufficient passengers. Fortunately, after negotiating with the airline, the flight was rescheduled for this afternoon. I spent the entire morning and afternoon feeling anxious. The itinerary wasn't officially confirmed until an hour before departure, and the agent was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, helping to communicate with the airline. Finally, we were lucky enough to board the last helicopter of the day—all that perseverance and patience paid off!
