I was doing the tour with an elderly family member. The tour was well organised. Our guide Yanis was extremely helpful, kindly, patiently explaining everything. The Alps looked glorious and the we were blessed with perfect weather. A wonderful outing for all ages.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and offered a lot of history about Lucerne and culture of the area, in addition to the wine and cheese tasting. When reading this tour, I found the description about the castle confusing. You will to an area near the edge of town (or away from tourist section), and take a large elevator up the mountain to the castle, which is now a hotel. There you’ll be able to hang out on the veranda and take beautiful photos of Lucerne. We happened to have a gorgeous sunny day. Given this, the activities, and great guide (Luz) we had a great time!


