Our tour with Karola was a wonderful and singular experience. She was knowledgable, kind and very helpful. She picked us up at the ferry at Uehara, and we spent 3 1/2 hours touring two sister villages on Iriomote. Karola showed us several sites related to the history and religious and cultural practices on Iriomote as well as the flora and fauna of this beautiful island. About midway through she served us tea and some local sweets while we sat on a deck overlooking the sea and continued to discuss the Iriomote community. It was very interesting and informative and her respect and regard for the island and its inhabitants, along with her warm and welcoming manner, made the tour an experience we will remember and cherish.

Such an amazing trip into the mangrove jungle of Iriomote with a great guide who explained the wildlife to us. We can 100% recommend and would do it again. :)

In my opinion, it was a bit too expensive for what it was. But Kengo was a great guide! He had a lot of knowledge about the area and was able to answer all our questions. The subsequent water buffalo tour wasn't really necessary... as the animals aren't treated well... so we walked instead of riding in the cart.

We absolutely loved our snorkeling boat tour! The activity was very well planned and thought through, easy to find meeting point and started on time. There were several guides and participants were split into small groups which made the experience more relaxed and safe. We loved our guide Makoto! She was so kind and enthusiastic and made sure everyone felt comfortable in the water :) She also had a waterproof cam and took great photos of us on request, so don't worry if you don't have an expensive camera with you. The company provided all equipment needed: snorkels and masks, fins, swim vests and also optional wet suits if you wanted one. What stood out to us the most is how the guides dived first to help place the boat anchor in a place where it won't hurt the reef. We love seeing such care for nature from a company. Highly recommend!!!

I am truly delighted with the activity and the exceptional support we received. Akary was absolutely superb! She was a great listener and incredibly kind. My sister, who can't swim, was accompanied throughout the activity with so much patience and reassurance 😊. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The team was also amazing, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this activity to everyone, even those who can't swim! A huge thank you to all!


