As long as you speak a little English, the overall experience is good. The volcano has a short time, and it is recommended to climb to the top.

The palace is absolutely magnificent and truly a must-visit in the city! Everything inside is stunning — the architecture, the interiors, and the atmosphere take your breath away. The audio guide was very informative and engaging, helping us learn so much about the history of the place. The only disappointment was that we weren’t allowed to go out to the garden terrace — we really wanted to enjoy the city view and take some memorable photos there. But overall, everything was great! The palace is wonderful and definitely worth seeing!

We experienced two successive last-minute changes of meeting point, each one further and further from our hotel. Our first driver, Max, arrived 10 minutes late and drove us through Naples to Pompeii. The driving was quite rough. The guide seemed more interested in the English speakers than the French speakers. Everything changed in Pompeii, with a new guide, Marie, who was fantastic! Then, for the trip to Mount Vesuvius, we had a new driver, Tonio, who was wonderful (friendly and cheerful), and a rather unremarkable guide. We had to rush up the mountain because the timing was far too tight to reach the summit and descend within the allotted time. It's a shame the clouds spoiled the view of the Bay of Naples, which should have been exceptional.

Fun experience hiking Mt Vesuvius and then touring Pompeii with Frankie. He was very informative and kept the tour lively and fun. And he always stopped the group in the shade!

Fascinating. I've also been to Mount Etna. Big difference. Both are worth it. The local guide told me almost the same thing as the tour guide. It took too long for me. I wanted to experience the atmosphere of Vesuvius. So I didn't hear everything from the local guide.
