Such a great trip! Grant (or Grant but in a kiwi accent) was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture and history during the long van rides. Glowworm caves were cool but the highlight for me was definitely the geysers. The whole experience was great and am so grateful that they offer a trip like this including transport since Rotorua is quite a distance away.
Note: this experience did not include a Māori performance or haka. If I read the description better I wouldve known that but that is the only thing I was a little bummed about. The experience is great, but just note what is actually included if thats what you are looking for.★

Finally, we saw glow-worms (possibly thousands of them), and it was a fantastic experience (we had visited multiple places in Australia and never seen anything like it before). The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and the scenic drive to and from the cave(which is in a rural area) also added to this fantastic day.★

Hobbiton was incredibly fun. It really felt like I was in a movie. The lunch buffet was also fun. I think it would have been even better if we had had about an hour of free time to explore. The glow worms in Waitomo were also mystical. Even though you're underground, you can see a starry sky!
