Reviews: From Edinburgh: Glenfinnan, Glencoe, and Highlands Day Trip
Guest User2026-01-15
Here’s a clean, warm, very human-sounding review you can use as-is or tweak: Our trip to the Highlands and Glenfinnan was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jamie. He was incredibly informative, but what really stood out was the way he shared stories—every place felt alive with history and meaning. Each stop he chose came with absolutely stunning views, somehow better than the last. We travelled in the first week of January, right in the heart of winter, and the snowfall made everything feel straight out of a postcard—quiet, dramatic, and magical. One of the best parts of the journey was Jamie playing beautiful soundtracks throughout the drive, from iconic Scottish films and TV series to traditional and modern Scottish music—it added so much soul to the experience. If you’re planning this trip, I truly hope you get Jamie as your guide and driver—you’ll be in the best hands.
Reviews: Original Harry Potter Locations Tour in Edinburgh : Guided Tour

Great walking tour around Edinburgh visiting places that have strong connection with the Harry Potter books and movies. Though none of the movies were filmed in Edinburgh, all books were written here, hence you can clearly see the inspiration all around you. Kieran is an amazing guide and person in general, it was very entertaining and overall just worth it! Also en route you visit very picturesque spots that make great photos

Amazing tour with the Hairy Coo tour company. The guide was just amazing! Never have I ever met such knowledgeable person who can so utterly captivate with their storytelling abilities. I came to Scotland with very vague understanding of the Scottish history, especially considering the Jacobite history. After this tour I've finally gathered a lot of valuable information. Also this tour is considered the longest of day tours among others, so be prepared for it. However, you travel on a big comfortable bus and can easily observe the High Lands en route with a lot of stops for sightseeing in different locations. I absolutely recommend this tour and tour company.
Reviews: The Chocolatarium Chocolate Tour Experience in Edinburgh
Guest User2025-12-01
Our tour guide, Kristie was amazing. Really engaging and knew her stuff about the chocolate. We opted for some of the Christmas moulds to make our own chocolate but you could also still use the usual mould if you wanted to. There was the option to make either milk or dark chocolate, no white option I'm afraid. However, there was plenty of opportunity to try some white chocolate, and lots more chocolate after. Book ahead as it gets booked up quickly. For the cost it is great value for money with opportunities to buy your favourites in the shop after.
