Reviews: Veracruz: Snorkeling Adventure at Isla de En Medio

The island is unbelievably beautiful! Powder soft (not white) sand, warm & clear water. We saw tons of little fish, a few bigger ones but, loads of kelp. You couldn't ask for a better way to spend 3 hours in paradise. The only complaint is that we were supposed to learn the snorkel equipment, but there was no learning. They simply hand you the equipment and send you about your way. Our equipment was broken & when I went to switch it out, I couldn't find our guide.

Reviews: San Juan: Old San Juan Guided Walking Tour

I recommend going with a trained guide like we did because we learned quite a bit about the history, attitudes, customs, and art that we might not have otherwise or on our own. And, with a diverse group who'd signed up for the same time slot, different questions arose whose answers helped us even more. Plus, our guide was relaxed and informal yet managed to cover a great deal while sticking to time. Those sites that caught our interest we then returned to later on our own.
