Reviews: Hop-On Hop-Off Tour CitySightseeing Munich
Guest User2024-09-02
Where ever we go visit we like to take a Hop-on-hop-off bus to give us an overview of what the city has to offer. It is a great way to sit back and enjoy the sights and get off if there is something you would like to enjoy close up. The directions and commentary in English was a bit difficult to understand and I recommend a correction in English to change saying "next stop" when you really mean "this stop!" We were listening for "next stop" for the English Gardens, but it was actually the prior stop, so we had to ride the bus again to get off where we wanted. Also, it was unclear which bus to take at the beginning. There seemed to be a mad dash to the buses, yet not until you got to the front of the line did you know if the bus was the right one or not.

Reviews: Berchtesgaden and Eagle's Nest Day Trip from Munich
Guest User2026-10-13
An Unforgettable Eagle’s Nest Tour with an Excellent Guide, Elisabeth! We had a fantastic day exploring Berchtesgaden and the Eagle’s Nest. The breathtaking mountain scenery and spectacular panoramic views were truly unforgettable. The tour was well organised, with a comfortable journey and plenty of interesting insights into the region’s history and significance. A special mention goes to our tour guide, Elisabeth, who was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and engaging throughout the trip. Her excellent explanations and passion for history made the experience even more meaningful and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Munich who wants to discover Bavaria’s stunning landscapes and fascinating history!

On a freezing cold (-2C) Saturday, we met Keith for our walking tour to learn about the Third Reich, Nazi Party and how Hitler came to be Fuhrer. It was an excellent tour and Keith is clearly a very knowledgeable man. He took us to some very relevant and interesting buildings where he elaborated on their part in history. I had an issue booking using PayPal because the booking site kept crashing when I had to confirm payment on the PayPal app. I eventually gave up and phoned the published number where the call taker sorted my booking quickly and efficiently but, I paid €5 more than the advertised price, presumably a handling/admin fee as they were a 3rd party company. However, this did not detract from the tour. I found it riveting and am grateful for Keith's subject matter expertise.

Reviews: Interrail Eurail | European 33-Country Rail Pass (Up to 50% Off! Includes European SIM Card/Multi-Date Consecutive/Flexible Ticket)
Guest User2026-10-13
I purchased this ticket to travel from Milan to Nuremberg via Munich. I didn't hesitate much because I could board the trains I wanted for just a little more than buying individual tickets. Of course, I had to reserve seats separately for long distances, but it wasn't difficult or too expensive. On top of that, being in first class allowed me to travel comfortably, so I was very satisfied.
