We were enjoying this wonderful trip so so so much. Montserrat is the highlight of this trip. We were so lucky to hear the famous Boy's Choir, amazing good. The view of montserrat is so beautiful. We had delicious lunch in the medieval town of Cardona. Visiting Castell De Cardona was a fantastic experience. In addition we have to say our tour guide Xavi did an excellent job. He is knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We highly recommend Xavi as your tour guide when you visit Montserrat.★

We drove to Cardona Castle first. This gives a nice view over the Old City of Cardona and the Salt Mine. We had some spare time, so Marcel took us to Santuari del Miracle. It's a beautiful church on a pilgrim trail. We then returned to Cardona for a walk through the Old City and to have lunch. We were then ready for the Salt Mine. A terrific experience. It was the highlight of the day for me. We drove back to Montserrat, standing proudly on the top of the beautiful hills of the mountain. It certainly is a picturesque place to visit. Marcel made our day a spectacular success. Thanks for everything, Marcel

I always avoid long day excursions but this one was just right I finished at the end of the day and wasn’t tired at all. We had to wake up very early to meet the guide at the office of the company. It was a great experience check-in and who our guide will be. Our guide for this trip was Alex. He was very nice, kind, knowledgeable. He provided us historical background of all the areas we visited to He made the day feel not so long. The driver was AMAZING as well. He kept us safe and we went and came back safely.
The ONLY disappointment is that we were not able to go Ax Les Thermes to see the hot springs. My husband was looking forward to it.
We travelled with a 6 and a 9 year they didn’t complain one bit. That was a plus plus in my book.
The only thing If you have motion sickness in car be prepared to feel a little nauseous going up the mountains. I just put my head down and was fine or bring some medicine just in case.
Although we didn’t go to Ax Les Thermes, we found a free little library in the France stop where my husband found his favorite author’sbooks. He was sooo happy.

Mayi was the best guide ever! I had originally booked the tour in Spanish but since there weren’t enough people, i was on an English-speaking tour after all. However, Mayi took it upon herself to speak to me in Spanish whenever she was not sharing her impressive knowledge and fun facts with the group! Montserrat was absolutely beautiful, there was some free time to enjoy in a variety of ways (i chose the little hike option which offered insane views), the history lesson that was shared was very clear and interesting, and the winery was definitely worth it, flavourful wines and well-thought out tapas to accompany each glass! Thank you to Mayi and CastleExperience, would recommend, cien por cien! 💯😊🌞🍷🇪🇸✨❤️
