An excellent tour of Beijing's main attractions. Our Russian-speaking guide, Katya, planned the itinerary perfectly, taking into account all our requests. We were picked up from our hotel on time; we contacted them the day before the trip. Despite the heavy tourist traffic, all locations had fast entry. The sunny weather allowed us to see the historical monuments in all their glory. I definitely recommend it.

The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).

I had an incredible experience visiting the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace thanks to our amazing tour guides Nikki and Evelyn. From the moment we started, everything was well organized and perfectly timed. The Forbidden City can feel overwhelming because of its size and history, but our guide Nikki explained the stories behind each courtyard, emperor, and architectural detail in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. It truly brought the history to life instead of just being a walk through old buildings. At the Summer Palace, my guide was Evelyn and she shared fascinating stories about Empress, Lake and Longevity Hill. Despite the cold weather, the tour remained enjoyable because of the guide’s energy, knowledge, and patience.


