This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.★

The local travel company in Austria is superb, the tour guide and the driver are very nice, and there is a certain basis for English communication, because the tour guide is introduced in English throughout the whole process, and the history of Austria is very detailed along the way, including Hallstatt, geographical location, and past stories. The whole process was introduced very well. I have the opportunity to go again next summer and still choose this local group. The winter is cold and the daytime is short. Basically, it will be dark at four o'clock in the afternoon. I will see the scenery of Summer next time!★

First, we took a bus tour around the city's major attractions. This was a great experience, giving visitors a glimpse into Vienna.
Then we headed to Schönbrunn Palace. There were no shopping stops along the way, which was fantastic.
Upon arriving at Schönbrunn Palace, there was a guided tour, which was also a very good experience.
Overall, it was excellent.★

Wonderful trip. Especially for those who love nature and want to see beautiful landscapes. You need to enjoy walking and have patience, as the trip is long, but it was worth every minute!!! I would do it again!!!
