What a great trip! We were picked up from our hotel 15 minutes before our scheduled pickup time and taken to the boat station. Soft drinks were provided on the boat. Before reaching the island, we stopped for snorkeling. The island itself is beautiful, and the pigs are adorable. The guide was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. We took the afternoon excursion and stopped on the way back to watch the sunset from the water. Before leaving, we had lunch at the station, a small buffet with several dishes.★

The day started fine except for one issue another group member had with the tour guide. There were two guides one for English and another for Mandarin. The tour is basically "a hold your finger" take through the various attractions. We were taken from the Metro Station bus stand in a public bus to the first site, the fishing village. We took the small boat for a small spin in the sea, where we could not sight any pink dolphins, but the guide did point out some features along the short cruise. The village is drab. Next we took a public bus to the Big Buddha. The guide pointed out some facts about the features of the tourist place. The temple does offer a set meal at a cost if you choose to eat there. After the meal and a quick view of the Buddha (which was in shadow and very unphotogenic), we took the cable car (good experience) to return to the Metro station, to end the tour. On the whole, this was a very average tour. The male guide should learn to smile a bit more, though. Very Dour!★

The half-day trip was very relaxing, and I didn't have to get up early. Maybe everyone doesn't like half-day trips, but it was just my daughter, another couple, and me that day, so it was a very relaxing experience. Pig Island is perfect for children. While there's nothing particularly exciting, the kids loved the pigs. We even rode a jet ski (optional) and snorkeled once, which was a very relaxing experience. The weather was nice, and the sunset was beautiful. The departure pier was a bit far, and it felt like almost an hour's drive. The boat was quite fast, arriving in less than half an hour.★

An excellent excursion! Everything lived up to the description. We were picked up from our hotel, and first there was a boat trip to a spot where you can see dolphins. And we saw them—a whole group of dolphins swam by, showing themselves above the water several times! It's amazing that this is the dolphins' natural habitat; people don't feed them; for some reason, the dolphins just come here in good weather. Then we went to Balicasag Island, where we snorkeled for about an hour. There you can then relax, have a snack, and buy souvenirs. If you have your own masks, fins, and swimming shoes, bring them with you, otherwise you'll have to rent them. Equipment rental and lunch are not included in the tour price, as they are optional. Our guide, Juan, was very polite and explained everything, and he speaks excellent English. Thank you for the excursion!★

This was my second time visiting Moreton Island. This time I experienced different activities, the off-road vehicle ride and the sunset cruise, which were really amazing! ! ! I also saw the shipwreck site. Looking forward to the next time!
