▲ The monkeys in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park may look adorable, but they have quite a temper. It's best to admire them from a distance and keep a close eye on your belongings, as they won't hesitate to snatch things. Areas with frequent monkey sightings include Golden Whip Stream and Ten-mile Gallery.

▲ The Bailong Elevator, with a vertical height difference of 335 meters and an operating height of 326 meters, consists of a solid shaft inside the mountain and a derrick attached to the mountain. Three elevators run side by side, each made entirely of transparent glass. While riding the elevator, you can admire one of Zhangjiajie's most spectacular sights through the glass: the Gathering of Divine Warriors. Located directly opposite the Bailong Elevator, this formation is composed of dozens of relatively independent stone peaks. Major attractions like the Golden Whip Stream, Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, and Tianzishan are seamlessly connected. The elevator ride takes just 2 min to reach the mountaintop Yuanjiajie Scenic Area.
