We were originally supposed to join a group tour, but because it wasn't a holiday, it ended up being a private trip for our family. Lin shared so much about Taiwan's local customs and culture, as well as the unique features of each attraction. Our Jiufen and Shifen Old Street & Shifen Waterfall day tour was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip. Visiting Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Old Street, and Shifen Waterfall all in one day was very well planned and not rushed. The scenery was beautiful—from the charming streets and local food in Jiufen, to the unique lantern experience in Shifen, and the impressive views at the waterfall. Everything flowed smoothly, making it a very enjoyable day. Our guide Lyndon was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He explained the history and stories behind each place, made sure everyone was comfortable, and kept the tour relaxed and fun. His guidance truly made the experience more meaningful and stress-free. He took photos too. Highly recommended if you want to see these iconic spots in one day with a great guide and a well-organized itinerary.

The tour guide and driver picked us up from the hotel, which was very convenient. They provided explanations at each attraction and helped us open doors when getting on and off the bus, showing great friendliness and hospitality. Traveling to attractions like Jiufen and Shifen by public transport can be inconvenient, so having a driver saved a lot of time. Plus, the day tour departed early, avoiding the crowds of tour groups and minimizing the number of people taking photos. Highly recommended.


