I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.★

Our tour guide, Xiao Chen, was lovely and wonderful! There were more places to eat than we expected, and fresh coconuts were available for purchase. The mountain road was a bit bumpy, but that was unavoidable given the environment. There was also a free farm where we could feed the animals, which were very cute. The staff on the boats to see the monkeys and fireflies were all very cheerful. It was a very worthwhile trip!★

The tour is a must when in KK. You get value for money for all the activities in one package. You get to have a photo stop at the floating mosque, spot proboscis monkeys and other wildlife in the river, chase sunset at the beach, enjoy Malay dinner, and witness fireflies illuminate the night. Amazing day! We loved every minute! Excellent value for money too. The car collected us from the hotel then took us to see the floating mosque. We then went to the river cruise where cool drinks and snacks were ready for us. We saw proboscis monkeys, a crocodile, huge monitor lizards and fireflies. Spending time at the beach was nice - amazing fire show and beautiful sunset photos. Robert, our guide, was truly outstanding! He couldn’t have done anything more for us. This trip was a highlight of our holiday. Thank you.★

The customer service was excellent, the itinerary was well-planned, and they provided pick-up and drop-off service with timely reminders. The scenery on Mermaid Island is unbeatable, swimming in the Jellyfish Bay is fantastic, the tour guide was very responsible, and the boat and car drivers were excellent – their skills were superb! The lunch on the island was also delicious; I ate two pieces of the fried fish!★

My expectations were high, so I was a little disappointed. The journey was long, but the driver's excellent skills saved us a lot of time. I don't know if we didn't choose the right language for the tour guide, but the company sent someone whose Mandarin wasn't very good, so it was a disadvantage for me since my English isn't good. Also, the suspension bridge was under construction and temporarily closed, which should have been mentioned in the itinerary (disappointing). Seeing the Rafflesia today was a memorable and happy experience.
