Our first stop with the MS Lady Diletta was Amsterdam, a very beautiful city with its narrow streets and canals. A canal cruise is a must; it costs €14.50 per person and lasts an hour. You can also go up the Adam Tower and swing for €7.50 per person. Or you can visit Madame Tussauds; admission is €23.50 per person. Just across the way is the National Monument, a large square but nothing particularly special. Also recommended are the Van Gogh Museum and the Schreierstoren, an old defensive tower not far from the train station and harbor.

Once on the bus, there's no way to communicate with the guide, for example, to ask how much longer it will take.

Reviews: Amsterdam: Van Gogh Museum and 75-minute City Canal Cruise
Guest User2026-10-14
I took my two children, aged eight and fourteen, for both the museum visit and a canal tour. Having Turkish commentary through the headphones was very helpful. You can see all the important landmarks and buildings in the city in a single tour; it's much more enjoyable in the afternoon if the weather is nice.

The Van Gogh Museum is spectacular, a must-see for anyone visiting Amsterdam. You can leave and take the little boat from there, so everything is perfect.

We loved our tour guide Janet. She was so brilliant. We were late getting to the meeting spot and she called us to make sure we were coming. We found the meeting spot. Once in the museum she would ask us questions at each piece which engaged us and we really enjoyed learning about Van Gogh ! Thank you so much for making our experience a memorable one. JANET is such an asset
