We had a wonderful relaxing afternoon spent with our guide Matsu. He was very courteous and provided us with lots of information about the area and the sites we were seeing. He also saved us over an hour waiting in line time by purchasing tokens that allowed us to walk right in to Matsumoto Castle. We tasted sake made on site by a family that has been making it there for 300 years using the spring water that comes out right at their front door. We also walked down Frog Street and a food vendors street. In addition we visited a 500 year old former Samurai house and a Shinto shrine with a temple. Highly recommend this tour. ★

Picked up point was nice and easy to find and to get to, staff very friendly! Tour was great, coach driver was very good the monkeys was amazing! If you love to see animals in the wild then this is one to see. The walk is very slippery so make sure you have good foot wear, not Jordan’s or other smooth bottom shoes otherwise you may slip up. Like myself! They do offer you to by shoe spikes at the attraction but I didn’t think it would be as slippery as it was! Well worth the trip! No pun intended★

I don't think I can really convey how awesome our tour was. it all starts with the guide and driver, our guide Endo was the most sincere and knowledgeable local who invited us into his part of the world with open arms. we were lucky enough to have only the 2 of us on tour so it was really personal. the temple/town was incredible with such strong history of peace and war, the hike was unreal "very easy" fyi. but what a beautiful part of the world. thank you Endo for an incredible time, wish to see you againTrip.com Picks
