I liked the tour, everything was strictly according to schedule, the only thing is that a lot of time is allocated for the expo park, 1 hour is enough.★

Reviews: Osaka departure Nara Park + Uji 1-day tour, feed adorable deer, taste matcha
Guest User2026-08-29
The time balance is a bit off: it would be better to spend more time in Nara Park and a little less time in Uji. A 60/40 split would be ideal. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5/10.★

Reviews: Osaka departure [lazy route] Nara deer interaction + Uji matcha tasting + Japanese-style healing
Guest User2026-08-21
We were incredibly lucky that the group of 49 we booked only had 6 people left! Our driver, Mr. Wang Weibing, kept telling us stories about the surrounding areas on the way to Nara and Uji. We could also negotiate the time at each stop, probably because there were so few of us and things weren't as strict. And when we arrived in Uji, we went straight back to our hotel in Tokyo. The driver dropped us off at a nearby station that served direct trains, and he didn't even meet us at the designated meeting point; he just picked us up! Small group, yay! 👏★

Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyoto, Nara and Uji | Nara Park, Byodoin Temple, Fushimi Inari and Tōdai-ji
Guest User2026-10-30
Although it rained heavily that day and my shoes were soaked all day, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The deer in Nara were so cute, it was just a pity the interaction time was too short! The matcha ramen and matcha takoyaki in Uji weren't very flavorful; I felt the matcha drinks, matcha churros, and matcha grilled dumplings were much more delicious!
Fushimi Inari was exactly like in the anime, magnificent! I've also attached photos of Todai-ji Temple, Byodo-in Temple, and the Uji River. This day was truly fulfilling and well worth it!
