Things to do in Kangle

Zhuzigou in Luming Township, Kangle, Linxia is part of the Taizi Mountain series and is a great place to escape the summer heat. There is a gully sandwiched between two mountains. On one side is a meadow like a green carpet, on the other side is a pine forest, with a small river in the middle. You can camp and ride horses deep in the scenic area. It is truly a Feng Shui treasure land.

The Birch Forest Scenic Area is located in Kangle County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. There are large tracts of birch forests with dense trees, overlapping mountains and gurgling streams. Climbing up the stairs, you can see the Bald Qiang wooden house in Boonie Bears, as well as many amusement facilities. Children love it very much.

Huanglong has few attractions, but the distances between them are quite far. You should definitely take the cable car up; if you can't walk the several kilometers of boardwalk, it's recommended to buy a sightseeing bus ticket and ride it stop by stop to see the views. However, this will prevent you from experiencing the fun of walking along the boardwalk through the primeval forest. In early November, Huanglong offers a magical view of snow-capped mountains and the Five-Colored Pool side-by-side. However, be sure to wear a hat and a down jacket to stay warm, as the temperature drops sharply after sunset; at 3600 meters altitude, altitude sickness is possible, so bring medication, oxygen, and food. A special note: those hiking down should start their descent before 4:30 PM, otherwise the descent along the boardwalk will take over two hours and become difficult after dark.

It's really a good place [scenery]

Absolutely fantastic! Every activity was so much fun. Shapotou Scenic Area truly lives up to its 5A rating. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. The vending machines inside the scenic area had the same prices as outside, the noodle shops were inexpensive, and all the activities were reasonably priced. It was highly worthwhile and incredibly fun!

The Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum is well worth a visit, with its South and North wings each having their own focus. Its crown jewel is the Guinness World Record-holding 618-meter-long painted Thangka, created with natural mineral pigments and breathtaking detail. Other exhibits include Tibetan medicine mandalas, traditional costumes, ancient books and ritual implements, comprehensively showcasing the history, medicine, and customs of the Tibetan Plateau. Renting a guided tour is highly recommended to allow for a leisurely appreciation of Tibetan civilization; it's an excellent place in Xining to gain a deeper understanding of Tibetan culture.

I hadn't originally planned to go, but I spent an extra day in Xining. Aside from being far from the city center, it was quite nice. I took bus 909 directly from Xining Station. At the entrance, I shared a guided tour with other tourists; there were quite a few unlicensed guides in the square. Their explanations were alright. At the butter sculpture museum, I encountered a little white cat and learned how to identify Master Tsongkhapa.

It quite nice to travel around Shuimodanxia, however, the downside is if you want to save time and save energy you must buy in-dept travelling because I spent almost 2 hours walk across the mountain and there are stairs and stairs. With that said It was worth for visiting when you stay in Lanzhou.
