I've been to Japan almost 20 times, and I realized I've never been to Mount Fuji. This time I had more time, so I dedicated a day to it. Summer isn't the best season for Mount Fuji, and it's crowded during summer vacation. Therefore, I arranged a day to hire a car to preview the nearby attractions, and if there are any I like, I'll focus on them next time.
Lake Kawaguchi is beautiful; I'd love to come back. Mount Fuji covered in snow in winter must be stunning.
My child doesn't like hot springs, so we didn't go to Hakone. Instead, we went shopping at an outlet mall, but it was incredibly crowded on the weekend.
The driver and I are from the same hometown, and we chatted happily about our hometowns the whole way.
I highly recommend hiring a car. It saves time, at least a whole day for visiting these attractions. The transportation costs for four people plus one night's accommodation are less expensive than hiring a car; you don't have to rush around, and you won't be tired after a long day.★

The one-day tour of Mount Fuji was excellent. Our guide, Hiraki, was fluent in English, Japanese, and Mandarin, making communication seamless and providing meticulous care for everyone. Fantastic! He even brought a camera to take photos for us, which was incredibly kind of me, a solo traveler. Highly recommended! Best of luck!★

The weather was great, so I was able to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji to my heart's content.
Our guide was Mr. Kim Myung-cheol, and he was witty and cheerful, making the entire tour fun!
However, the travel time from Tokyo Station to Mt. Fuji is quite long. I went on the tour on a Sunday, and due to traffic on the way back, I didn't arrive at Tokyo Station until around 8 PM.
If you are planning other activities after the tour, I recommend scheduling with plenty of time to spare, taking travel time and traffic conditions into account!★

I stayed in Tokyo for a week and tried several times to see Mount Fuji, but failed every time. I was about to give up and go back home, but on the last day when the weather forecast was good, I decided to sign up just in case. In conclusion, I highly recommend it. I was able to see the magnificent Mount Fuji nearby, and I was able to comfortably visit all the photo spots I've always seen. In particular, thanks to Guide Ohashi's uniquely entertaining storytelling, I had a great time touring, and I also gained some great information about Japan that I didn't know before.
