Reviews: Seven Lakes Tajikistan: Day Tour
Guest User2026-11-01
Experiencing Tajikistan was truly something else! We found ourselves wandering along endless rugged roads, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views that seemed to go on forever. It was such an adventure, and we got to experience the raw, untouched beauty of the country. Our tour guide Vohidjon, made the experience even better, sharing plenty of interesting insights about Tajikistan along the way, while our driver skillfully navigated the steep and challenging mountain roads. They’ve shared us bread to eat and grapes to share as part of their tradition on welcome You really appreciate how much of this country is shaped by its incredible mountainous terrain. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure while still making safety a priority. 100% would travel with this team again given the chance. Until the next adventure, Tajikistan!

Reviews: Seven Lakes Day Trip from Samarkand with Lunch & Tickets

A tour to the 7 lakes in Tajikistan is the best investment in memories of this trip! From the very first minutes of the journey, you are surrounded by incredibly beautiful, towering mountains. Their scale is astounding. Each of the seven lakes is absolutely unique. They have different shapes, completely different water colors – from soft turquoise and rich aquamarine to deep, almost black.• It looks like Photoshop, but it's real. • The road is pure adrenaline. The serpentine roads are challenging, narrow, and over cliffs. But the driver is simply a master of his craft! He drove so confidently and smoothly that there was no fear, only respect for such skill.🤘 The guide was a pro, without boring lectures, he told us about the lakes, mountains, and mountain villages. He didn't rush us, leaving us plenty of time to enjoy the ride and take beautiful photos. Yes, the road might seem tiring, but it's definitely worth it. This excursion gave us the most vivid and powerful emotions. The stunning nature of Tajikistan, the extreme sports, the great team, and the coordinated work of all participants made this day.

Reviews: From Samarkand: Shahrisabz, Amir Timur's Hometown Day Trip

. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had an excellent command of the history of the period. Her English was also excellent, which made the tour informative and enjoyable. The stop by the lake was beautiful, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The historical site itself is very large, and you need a couple of hours to explore it properly and appreciate everything it has to offer. The restaurant on the return journey has fantastic views, but unfortunately, the food was not to our taste. It was expensive, and cold meat was not something we particularly enjoyed. The toilet facilities at the restaurant were also very poor and need significant improvement. Overall, the guide and scenery were excellent, but the restaurant experience was disappointing.
