Lanzhou Danxia Geological Park is a key cultural tourism project in Gansu Province and a comprehensive cultural tourism initiative prioritized by the Lanzhou Municipal Committee and Government. Located by the Yellow River, the park is just 13 km from downtown Lanzhou and 30 km from Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport, making it one of the closest Danxia landform clusters to a major urban center in China. With a total planned area of 400 sq km and a core visiting area of 25 sq km in its first phase, it ranks among the largest discovered landscapes of its kind in the country. The park primarily features red mountain bay formations, along with spectacular Danxia cliffs, isolated peaks, secluded valleys, narrow gorges, and balancing rocks. Its colorful mountains set against winding waterways create a masterpiece of Danxia landform scenery. The attraction features seven viewing platforms showcasing the Danxia landforms: Silk Road Glow, Silk Road Eagle, Flying Apsaras Exploration, Nine-Colored Danxia, Danxia Reflecting Sky, Emerald Peaks Rippling Sky, and Danxia Summit Scenic View. It also includes the Ancient Silk Road Gateway, Shajing Tribe Cultural Square, Desert Bells Scenic Boulevard, and a 2,550m Danxia boardwalk viewing area. As a key cultural tourism project in the province, Lanzhou Danxia Geological Park adheres to the principles of "ecological protection, green development, preserving original features, and moderate development." Leveraging Lanzhou's unique resource advantages and focusing on the domestic tourism market, it aims to cultivate new growth drivers for Lanzhou's cultural tourism industry and establish a new highland for cultural tourism in the city.China · Yongdeng

Working on the mountain behind Qishan Township, you can have a bird's eye view of the entire Qishan Fort. The ancient fort majestically stands across the West Han River Valley. It had outstanding military value in ancient times, and the Wuhou Temple was built on the ancient fort~ The weather has been gloomy in recent days, and the mountain is muddy. The villagers said that there has been more rain this year, and left a small poem~~~~ The three trips to Qishan have not stopped, and the cloudy and muddy roads make people sad. The hometown of the Qin Emperor is now rainy, and the loess of the West Chui is feminine. The six expeditions were fruitless, and the grass and trees beside the Wuhou Temple are quiet. Big and small things go with the wind, and the water of the ancient fort flows west for thousands of years. Record of the Qishan earthquake landslide operation Note: Li County was called Xichui in the Western Zhou Dynasty, the birthplace of Qin culture; Zhuge Liang went to Qishan six times and built the military facility Qishan Fort here. Later generations built the Wuhou Temple on the fort as a memorial; the West Han River flows from east to west in this section.

Jiuzhaigou truly lives up to its reputation; it's a veritable paradise on earth! The lakes are crystal clear and vibrant with color. Five-Flower Lake and Five-Colored Pool are breathtakingly beautiful, and the waterfalls are graceful and magnificent. The boardwalks are clean and easy to walk on, and the sightseeing buses are convenient. Every step reveals a new vista, and every snapshot is a masterpiece. Only by visiting in person can you truly understand why you won't want to see any other water scenery after visiting Jiuzhaigou. It's absolutely worth a visit!

The Six Expeditions to Qishan Scenic Area, steeped in rich history and culture, is a vital component of the Longnan Qin and Han Cultural Industry Belt and one of its six core products. Centered around the Wuhou Temple and set against the backdrop of the Three Kingdoms period, the scenic area, centered around the historical events of Zhuge Liang's Six Expeditions to Qishan, offers a comprehensive tourist destination integrating sightseeing, leisure, and historical and cultural education. Key attractions include the Science Fiction Qishan Experience Hall, the Ziyan Pavilion Hanfu Dress-Up Hall, a cultural and creative supermarket, the Kongming Teahouse, the Yanguanfang Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Center, the Magic Qishan Family Amusement Park, and the Qishan Daying Racecourse. Embracing the cultures of the early Qin Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms period, salt culture, and regional folk customs exemplified by the Qiqiao (Qiqiao) ritual, each tract of land tells a story stretching back thousands of years.

A masterpiece of nature! The terraced pools, with their ever-changing colors, are tranquil and soothing, possessing a unique beauty comparable to Jiuzhaigou. Highly recommended! However, altitude sickness is a concern. Our family experienced severe altitude sickness.

The scenic area should strengthen its management; cigarette butts and litter are everywhere on the trails.

A mountain is not famous for its height, but for the presence of immortals; a river is not famous for its depth, but for the presence of dragons. The Qishan Fort Plain was the gateway to Sichuan in ancient times.

Lanzhou's Danxia landforms are truly a hidden gem in the suburbs! The scenic area isn't far from the city center, making it very convenient to access. The Danxia landforms are vibrant with color, and under the interplay of sunlight and shadow, they truly resemble a slowly unfolding "ink painting," creating a visually stunning experience where every snapshot is a masterpiece. The scenic area is vast, and taking a sightseeing bus is not only energy-saving but also offers breathtaking scenery along the way. It hasn't been overly commercialized, preserving the rugged grandeur unique to Northwest China. It's perfect for a weekend stroll or a trip with friends, offering excellent value for money and definitely worth a visit!

Having passed through Jianmen Pass, no obstacle in life is insurmountable. Jianmen Pass was one of the attractions we had been longing to visit. This time, we used both our hands and feet to traverse the "bird path," truly experiencing the difficulty of the Shu Road. The large and small tunnels were both quite unique, while the Stone Bamboo Shoot Peak and the One-Line Sky were rather ordinary. If you don't want to take the bird path, you can climb the cliffside corridor, while the gate tower stands tall and imposing.
