Reviews: From Denver: Red Rocks, Evergreen, and Echo Lake Tour
Guest User2026-10-23
Wonderful tour! I only had a day to spend in Denver and wanted to get out of the city. The meeting place was easy to find and the stops were all perfectly timed. If you're worried about Red Rocks being closed for a concert, don't be! We arrived a little after 1pm and had about 40 minutes to explore. They were setting up for a concert later that night, but it didn't interfere with the experience. Evergreen is a great little town, but if you plan to grab something to eat, leave plenty of time. It took me about 10-15 minutes to get my smoothie after I placed my order. Definitely on 'Mountain Time,' as our guide stated haha. Speaking of our guide, Emily was fantastic: friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and organized. It was like having your friend take you on a tour:) Definitely bring clothes to layer; the temperature in Denver was 73, but by the time we reached Echo Lake, it was 46. All in all, this was a fantastic trip and I highly recommend it!

Reviews: Shared Half-Day Mountain Tour in Red Rocks Evergreen and Echo Lake
Guest User2026-10-19
This half day tour is definitely a best deal you can take in Denver. Jorge is a nice tour guide with much humor, knowledge and provides good services. The Red Rock is a must to visit spot. Echo lake is fantastic, even better with a little bit snow. Evergreen is a nice little town with history. Even though I privately want a longer stay at each spot, the time control of our tour guide is just perfect.

The group was small and intimate and very friendly. The day was storybook beautiful. Each stop was enjoyable and unrushed. Our guide, Aaron, was knowledgeable, fun and just a delight. We were so "enamored" with Aaron, that we thought of snatching him at the end of the tour, and stuffing him in our suitcase, and make a run for it. Then my cousin reminded me that kidnapping was a federal offense and by coincident, there was a Federal Supermax prison in Colorado. We reluctantly abandoned the idea.

Our E-Bike tour from Golden, to Red Rocks, and onto Morrison exceeded our expectations. I had no idea along the way that we were going to get to see Dinosaur Ridge, the #1 ranked location in the nation to see fossilized foot prints. The ride is a solid 20 miles, but we e-bikes it was not strenuous.
