Our first stop with the MS Lady Diletta was Amsterdam, a very beautiful city with its narrow streets and canals. A canal cruise is a must; it costs €14.50 per person and lasts an hour. You can also go up the Adam Tower and swing for €7.50 per person. Or you can visit Madame Tussauds; admission is €23.50 per person. Just across the way is the National Monument, a large square but nothing particularly special. Also recommended are the Van Gogh Museum and the Schreierstoren, an old defensive tower not far from the train station and harbor.

Richard was a well informed and enthusiastic guide. He encouraged questions and allowed ample time for photos. We really enjoyed the tour.

Once on the bus, there's no way to communicate with the guide, for example, to ask how much longer it will take.

Our favorite activity that we did in Amsterdam. The village is charming and the windmill experience was a must. Don't be afraid to go upstairs and outside. We went on a windy day and all the windmills were spinning quickly.
