Reviews: Tokyo Nikko World Heritage Temple + Lake Chuzenji + Kegon Falls + Iroha Road Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-15
A huge thank you to Director Liu for giving us a joyful, relaxing, and rewarding day. His explanations were engaging and informative, providing a wealth of new knowledge. He also allowed ample time for rest along the way, ensuring a smooth and professional schedule without rushing or pressure. We saw many elementary school students learning at Dongzhao Temple, and also encountered many Russian tourists. Unfortunately, due to heavy fog and rain, we couldn't see the full view of Huangyan Waterfall, only hearing the loud roar of the water. The most memorable aspects for me were the tranquil lake, the beautiful environment, and the various national treasure-level buildings featured in the film, especially Longming Temple. A truly worthwhile trip!

Reviews: Japan Tokyo Nikko World Heritage Ancient Temple + Irohazaka + Lake Chūzenji + Kegon Waterfalls 1-day tour
Guest User2026-10-16
this was one of the highlights of our time in Japan. I highly recommend it! if you motion sickness like I do, take something prior to getting on the bus because it’s a 2.5 hr drive one way. bring snacks , you do get to stop at the waterfalls and eat lunch but options are limited. the temple was amazing!

Reviews: 9-person small group · Nikko Toshogu Shrine fall 1-day tour · Kegon Waterfalls · Lake Chūzenji · Irohazaka

This was my first time using this kind of small day tour, and it was more reliable than I expected. The Chinese-speaking driver made communication easy, the pace of the itinerary was just right, we saw everything we wanted to see, and it wasn't tiring at all.

Reviews: 1-day tour to Nikko Toshogu Shrine + Lake Chūzenji: Irohazaka Winding Road/Kegon Waterfalls/Departing from Tokyo
Guest User2024-01-23
The driver sped up and overtook other vehicles, finishing the itinerary around 2 PM. Well, I can only say that I had time to shop back in Tokyo, as many shops close around 8 PM now. Aside from that, the sights were quite nice. Toshogu Shrine was worth visiting, but there wasn't enough time to see the surrounding neighborhoods and a few of the paid palaces near the entrance. Lake Chuzenji was exceptionally beautiful in the sunlight; it wasn't as impressive on a cloudy day. There were seven of us in the car, including one foreigner, and everyone was very punctual. It would have been better if we had more time for sightseeing.
