It had been a long time since I'd joined a tour group, but this time I booked one for my trip to Japan. I was surprised by how friendly and sincere the tour guide was, and how exceptionally attentive the service was. It completely changed my old perception of group tours. I'm very grateful for the guide's thoughtful and considerate arrangements.

Reviews: Explore Takachiho Gorge, Miyazaki Kumamoto 1-day tour, discover Ama-no-Iwato Shrine, West Main Shrine, with complimentary one-way canyon shuttle
Guest User2026-09-15
We were the only two Koreans and the rest were of different nationalities, which was a bit awkward, but they didn't mind and explained everything clearly, even if it was just the same content, in different languages. The first shrine in the forest was fantastic. However, please be careful as you have to climb stairs and a mountain within a short time. The Takachiho course is entirely downhill, and the return trip is via shuttle, making it very convenient. You can leisurely admire the columnar joints. Just keep in mind that it will be tight if you pack lunch as well. The last shrine requires a long walk in the opposite direction from the first. There are several shrines along the way, but it is difficult to see them all, so I recommend focusing on the cave. If you get your fortune told on the way, you can place it at the final cave. You can get Goshuin stamps at both the first and second shrines. You can get the first one at the parking lot and the second one at the cave shrine in the middle. There is ample time for breaks. However, since the round-trip journey alone takes nearly 7 hours, it is difficult to enjoy everything, but I recommend it because it is a place you wouldn't dare visit without this bus tour.

Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Mt. Nakadake Crater + Takachiho + Amanoiwato Day Tour from Fukuoka
Guest User2026-09-23
I liked the itinerary, which provided a solid tour from Mt. Aso to Takachiho Gorge. Traffic was heavy due to the Japanese holidays, but thanks to the guide's efforts, we were able to successfully complete the entire course. I also appreciated the peace of mind provided by the priority given to Korean commentary and the guaranteed departure. I especially recommend this tour to those traveling on foot.

A wonderful travel experience, especially with our guide Aiko-san, who was incredibly attentive and considerate. She led the group well and explained the stories behind each attraction, making the whole trip exceptionally relaxing and enjoyable. As someone who frequently travels abroad, I really appreciated this kind of day trip experience. It solved both transportation issues and allowed for a well-planned itinerary, eliminating the need for painstaking research and planning.

Thank you to our tour guide, Wu Xia, for your incredibly dedicated service, which made for a wonderful day for everyone! Although we encountered a traffic jam due to an accident on the highway and our attempt to gamble on the weather in the mountains failed, Wu Xia's expert explanations along the way provided a wealth of knowledge about Mount Aso, which was still very rewarding! You absolutely must go boating in Takachiho! It was so much fun! Wu Xia's self-made boating instructions were extremely useful! This was a combined Chinese and English tour, and the bilingual explanations increased the tour guide's workload, but Wu Xia took excellent care of both groups, taking beautiful photos for everyone – truly amazing!
