It was an incredible tour. The guide was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable, explaining so much about Alaska throughout the trip. Trekking on Matanuska Glacier was unforgettable, and I captured so many great photos. It truly is a must-see destination in your lifetime before the glacier recedes.

Our Aurora tour with Greatland Adventures on Sept 12th was truly unforgettable! We were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights, the Milky Way, and even shooting stars! Our guide Denis was amazing! He was adventurous, knowledgeable, and passionate about Alaska, wildlife and the auroras. He taught us about them and how to watch it. He also shared stories about his life in Alaska, which made the experience even more special. At our first stop, he showed us constellations, took beautiful photos of us and even made us hot chocolate while we waited for the fog to clear. When it didn’t, the guides took us to another location. Denis also went the extra mile and stayed with us longer to give us the chance to see the aurora at its best. And as if that wasn’t enough, he helped us spot a moose. We couldn’t be happier and more grateful for this amazing experience. Thank you Aurora team and especially Denis, our awesome guide! Until our next Alaskan adventure! Iván, Yearim, Martha & Jorge

Great way to see the Glacier up close! Ryan was super knowledgeable, patient, and lots of fun. The glacier is a sight to see! We made quick friends with the others in the group which made the ride to/from really fun.

This activity was incredible. We got so many good tips on photography, and saw so many good sites. It was amazing to be out during the Solstice, and Carl was an incredible guide. I would honestly do a whole arctic excursion with him as a knowledgeable guide about the local flora and fauna and the history of the various regions around Alaska.

the tour was good, Logan was very knowledgeable of the area and the history. I could tell that we were not of the same political leanings, so I was doing my best to change the subject when I could so we would not have to deal with that awkwardness. unfortunately it rained during our tour but we made the best of it and the wildlife center was really great.


