Excellent!!! I have lived in Liverpool all my life and know the city centre very well having worked in the Royal Liver Buildings in the 60's. But I must say going through the L8 area south of Liverpool was a revelation. The overall impression of that area was the buildings and houses circa 1800's onwards built with such elegance and no expense spared. Some parts are awesome and other parts are in a state of disrepair. A BIG shout-out to Rob, John and Kellie (Guides) who were so helpful and friendly and are a fine example of the renowned Liverpool friendly characters!

Through the process of booking until the end of the tour, we had the best experience ever! Our tour guide, Keith Atkinson showed professionalism, friendliness, was fun and knowledgeable about the history of the Beatles. Fans since we were kids, we were excited to see where it all started. We had a beautiful, sunny day and had plenty of room to stretch out. We went on June 26, 2024. If you are coming by ship, they pick you up and drop you off right there at the cruise terminal. It's convenient because you can board the train just by showing the QR code after making a reservation. It's cheaper than buying a ticket at the station, and I liked that I didn't have to wait in line at the ticket machine.
