Despite the attacks, I booked a tour late in the evening for the next day. I contacted the organizer to confirm the details. Initially, he said it would be canceled and, despite the non-refundable policy, they would refund the payment. However, after a while, he confirmed the trip would go ahead and confirmed my participation. A polite and helpful driver/guide picked me up at 9:30, picked up another participant, and set off. Everything was as planned, but from my impressions, I would omit everything except the palace, the mosque, and possibly the village, which, unfortunately, was closed for renovations. There was time for lunch, which was convenient. And due to the situation, the mosque was almost empty 😊 The guide explained everything perfectly! I learned about the UAE and Abu Dhabi.

What an amazing tour and what an amazing tour team, the tour started with views of the city and palace and before we knew it they whisked us off to an island to enjoy some of the swimming and sea…. But then they really started the trip, they sailed us out to an island what felt like a million miles away, to one side of us we had the backdrop of the city skyscrapers and hotels and to the other a blazing hot Middle Eastern sunset. Mohammed the tour guide was a fantastic young man from Tanzania, and couldn’t do enough for us, refreshments were supplied. a really beautiful touch was that where ever we stopped and there was a little bit of rubbish that had washed up, without request he cleared it all up, not for us but just conscious to preserve the beauty of the islands. The two skippers (also called Mohammed) were fantastic and friendly and weren’t afraid to get the engines going! Just when we thought the tour was over and the sun had set they took us around the skyscrapers and palace again to see it all lit up. Thank you very much to the three mohammeds. My advice to anyone that is wondering if they should do it, we were a group of 4, from 3 years old to 67 years old and we all had a great time in the sea, on the islands and on the boat. Thanks again guys.
