We were going uber to the fountains ourselves and buy tickets but honestly, I’m glad we did it through *** as the area was a mess. Stefano, our guide, was completely delightful and navigated us through the massive crowds near the area that were heading to some big concert in the same area, right up to the front entrance).
There are 13 interactive fountains with coordinating Peruvian music and laser lights which tells the history of Peru. Walked around the park and finally found homemade Picarones. They tasted a bit like an Italian zeppole or lighter version of a beignet from New Orleans. However, these were made from sweet potatoes and squash with a drizzle of fig sauce. They were so fresh and delicious.★

Dancing fountain show was fascinating, providing an insight into the history of Peru and the Barranco art murals were almost lifelike. Only downside was travelling in the horrendous Lima traffic which accounted for about a third of the tour's duration.★

A nice and informative full day tour of the main areas of Lima. Present day, history, different neighborhoods, viewpoints. I did not have expections about Lima beforehand so I was like a open book that sucked information. Lima is more than I expected. Absolutely worth of visiting. The guide Lidia was great. She has a huge amount of knowledge and good English. Also our driver "Mr. Percy" was the best in the busy traffic. Thank you to both of you 😊. What could be improved? The lunch spot could be more authentic, focusing entirely on Peruvian food. There was only one vegetarian option, pasta, which I could have eaten anywhere in the world. It would also have been good to have some information about the pick-up time beforehand, as promised in the booking. Even though the tour started at 9 am, people were picked up from different hotels before and after 9 am.★

Amazing tour with an amazing guide! Moises was very informative, personable and entertaining. He showed us main sites and viewpoints and gave great information that I wasn’t aware of. Also took time to take pictures of whomever wanted them in the group :)
The day turned out longer than expected but that was due to crazy traffic!
Would still recommend this tour.
