It was my first time picking and frying tea leaves myself. It was such an interesting experience. Thank you to our tour guide, Xiao Xu, for taking us all the way. The explanations were very clear and attentive. The aunt was very enthusiastic. It was a great feeling to sit in the teahouse and enjoy the tea.

I booked this tour as a way to explore the local area as a first time visitor at the end of a business trip when I had a few days free. This was my first experience of a private tour and what can I say - it was amazing!! The organisation and booking was so straightforward and easy to do, great communication throughout and I instantly felt like I was in great hands! My guide, Sherry, was simply amazing! From the moment I met her she was warm, friendly, and made me feel so comfortable and safe in this place so far from home. Sherry shared loads of interesting facts and information about our starting point, Hangzhou, and continued to amaze and impress me throughout the course of the day! By the end of the tour I was exhausted! But felt like I had learnt loads, and also felt like I had a new friend in my life. The water village is absolutely worth a visit, for anyone wanting to go, and I cannot recommend booking with this team - from the organisers behind the scenes, to the amazing guide and even the wonderful, friendly driver! This is absolutely worth the money and I just want to thank the team once again for making my visit so memorable!

It was a little bit crowded at that time due to public holidays in China, but totaly worth 2 hrs drive from Hangzhou. Very well preserved ancient Chinese rural village. Good for taking pictures in traditional attires)
