▲ Leaving Edinburgh, we headed west, passing Stirling Castle, and arrived at the charming 18th-century conservation village of Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond. Here, narrow cobbled lanes are lined with sandstone cottages draped in climbing roses. Take some time to wander around, admiring the quaint houses and breathtaking lake views, while gazing at the iconic Ben Lomond.

▲ As we continued westward, the scenery grew even more spectacular. We traversed the steep mountain range known as the Aroche Alps and stopped at a viewpoint called "Rest and Gratitude." Gazing at the unobstructed views, you'll understand the words carved into the stone by soldiers who built the original road centuries ago.

▲ Arrive in Inveraray, an 18th-century town located on the expansive shores of Loch Fyne, featuring an ancient jail and a magnificent castle. You can freely arrange your time to savor local cuisine and explore the town.

▲ Continue northward and stop by Kilchurn Castle for photos. This magnificent medieval castle was abandoned in the 18th century, yet it still stands guard over the stunning Loch Awe, creating a captivating sight.

▲ Traverse through the Trossachs National Park, pause at Loch Lubnaig, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of this serene haven at the heart of the Trossachs mountains, where forested hills reflect on the glassy waters.

▲ The final stop is the famous Doune Castle, built over 600 years ago and one of Scotland's best-preserved medieval castles. It has appeared in films and TV shows such as "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "Outlander."
